Another boring school day. ( Open)

[Fox]

Eric saw his opening and took it when the machine's legs stopped working. He ran toward his foe and used both hands to slam his hammer down on the machine. It twitched and sparked before falling over backwards and ceasing to move. Eric made sure his foe was indeed defeated by bashing it a couple more times for good measure, having been taught to never turn your back on a fallen enemy unless you were sure they were dead. "Seems this metal man shall no longer be threatening anyone."

Eric turned and walked over toward Sarah and Fane, putting his hammer and shield away as he approached and lifting his visor so they could see his face. "Are you two alright?" He asked as he offered a hand to each to help them back up. It seemed the fight had taken a bit of a toll on them both.

Fox saw the griffon give up and grinned, then he let out a frightened yelp as he saw the robots come zooming in. Taylor was losing speed, but the robots were not! Fox tried an illusion but the robots ignored it. The kitsune mentally scolded himself, realizing that his illusions only worked on living things. He quickly looked around at the scenery in search of something to use to help Taylor and himself escape. He saw a decorative tree in a pot on the back of a truck they were flying over.

Fox channeled his nature magic toward the plant, making it grow at an alarming rate. The truck found itself rooted to the ground as the tree's wild growth happened and the tree's branches spread out to block most of the area over the road and between the buildings. He was rewarded by a couple explosions as the robots slammed into the unexpected obstacle, but it seemed a few made their way around it.

"We need to get somewhere with plants! Flowers, trees, vines... anything will do! Like a park or something!" Fox called out, informing Taylor of what he needed to save them both.

[Yuki]

Both Sarah and Fane smiled when the Knight won the battle, if it where not for him they would have been caught. When he came over asking they where ok and offered to help them up, both girls took his hands ad stood up with a nod. " Yeah, we are now... Thanks for saving us, if you had not come they would have gotten us for sure." Sarah said weakly with a slight blush. Fane nodded and gave a bow to the Knight. " I think you brave Knight, I fear we would have lost our lives today if you where not here today." Fane said with smile.


Even though Fox was telling him to go to a place with plants he had no more power... Taylor slowed down even more and landed on the ground on all fours panting and gasping. " I.. I can't!! Run Fox run!! It would be bad if they caught is both!" Taylor said as heavy tears ran down his cheeks. He was going to die.... And there was nothing he could do about it..

[Fox]

Eric smiled at the two young ladies, making a little bow to them both once they were back on their feet. "I'm just happy to have been here to help. Those same metal men attacked me and my friend the other day. We haven't really been able to determine where they come from or who sent them, or even why they were sent after us. Is it the same situation for you, or could you perhaps tell me more about these enemies?" Eric said as he let his armor vanish, leaving only the magic bracer on his arm. Without his armor he looked like a normal human male... except for the cat ears on top of his head in place of normal human ears on the sides of his head.

Fox hopped out of the backpack, transforming into his normal form and pulled Taylor up to his feet. "I'm not leaving you behind! We've been through this before!" Fox said stubbornly, helping the boy to his feet and then placing Taylor's arm over his shoulders so that he could help support his friend's weight as he started to help him away from the area. "I won't leave you behind so don't even try to make me leave without you!" The little kitsune said and then paused as he spotted a window box on a nearby building ahead of them. The window box had a bunch of healthy looking roses growing in it. It wasn't much but it would have to do.

"Come on, we just need to go a little further up the road..." He was doing his best to help Taylor, but Fox was not built for strength and he couldn't quite use his nature magic on the roses from this distance.

[Yuki]

Taylor just wished Fox would go, it would be no good if they both got killed, But for whatever reason the little fox kept on trying to fight. This in turn touched Taylor, even though everything seemed lost. As Fox helped him up and tried to get walk Taylor knew he couldn't give up!! He then forced his legs to work and picked up Fox, and with everything he had he dashed up the road as far as he could before his legs gave out from under him. He then tossed Fox forward before he fell to the ground.


Sarah could not help but stare at the Knight's cat ears... They reminded her of her boyfriend Kyo... He turned to a cat whenever she hugged him. She had to resist reaching and touching his ears. Though when he asked about the robots and even said he and a friend if his where attacked by them brought her out of thought land. Sarah blinked in shock and looked over at Fane. Fane looked at her and nodded, " This is not the first time we have seen those things... Though we did nothing to cause them to attack us today.. In fact I was dealing with some dragon slayers before Fane and those guys showed up.... Anyway those guys work for the guy that attacked the Teen titan tower. they won but almost lost the tower." Sarah said as she tried to remember more of the guy.


And there was one time Yuki and I went alone into a base of his and barely got out alive... And the dude is some sort of magic user.. He used some kind of magic to hide himself . Though later I saw him through the video Lucky had gotten.. Though all I could see was his yellow eyes for he had some sort pf armor on..." Sarah said as she closed her eyes, hugged her self and shuddered at the memory. Those killer yellow eyes.... She never wanted to see them again if she could help it...

[Fox]

Fox was a little startled when Taylor lifted him up, especially since Fox was in his normal form and heavier than when he was in his little fox form. Fox was quick to land on his feet and glad to see that Taylor had moved so swiftly, and even more pleased to see the little well tended window box of roses. He felt a little guilty about what he was about to do, but it had to be done or Taylor would get hurt!

Fox channeled his nature magic into the roses, causing them to sprout much larger and more quickly than any normal plant. Poison Ivy herself couldn't have done a better job at making the flowers grow, but it wasn't the flowers Fox was interested in at the moment... it was the thorns!

The roses grew to a monstrous size in mere moments, their stems growing thicker and heavier, the thorns becoming as sharp as spears. The roots of the plants sunk into the brick of the building to anchor themselves, but it couldn't be helped. Fox continued to send streams of magic into the flowers and then directed them at the robots that were so very close to them now. One thorny stem rammed right through a robot before it knew what happened and the other plants joined in, twisting around bots in the air to crush them or impale them with the thorns. The robots hadn't expected the attack at all and the devastation of the surprise attack was complete. Fox fell to his knees panting when it was over, smiling at Taylor.

"See? *huff huff* I told you we'd win!" The little kitsune was out of breath, but he managed to give Taylor a thumbs up sign nonetheless.

Eric listened to what the young lady had to say, though he couldn't notice that she had been staring at his ears quite a bit. Why did everyone fixate on his ears? It seemed that even with all the craziness going about the city everyone always had to take a moment to stare at his fuzzy kitty ears. When Sarah was done talking he looked a bit grim at the news.

"This does not bode well. Whoever this mysterious fiend is he can not mean well for any of us. Yet it seems he has an army of these metal men at his disposal without betraying his whereabouts. The fact that he's a magic user as well only deepens my concern. I think you were lucky that his metal men seemed to be after those dragon slayers you mentioned. If he really was the same one to attack the tower then from what I saw he has a dragon on his side, he must not take kindly toward anyone who might threaten his dragon. From what you said I think that the dragon slayers were his target today and that you two were merely caught in the path of his assassins." Eric rubbed his chin with one hand as he thought on the matter. He knew some about military strategy, but not nearly as much as his deceased mentor had.

"This is all very puzzling... when these metal men attacked me I was with a new friend. She says she's from another world and I believe her, as she took me onto her sky ship after she healed me and she looks nothing like any human. She hadn't done anything to provoke this villain though... yet we were both attacked for no reason that time. I can only guess that this magic user has some sort of way of detecting those with power and seeks to eliminate anyone who he thinks might pose a threat... but that still doesn't explain everything." Eric was thinking out loud now and then suddenly stopped himself as he looked at the two girls.

"Oh please excuse my terrible rudeness! I haven't introduced myself! I am Sir Korrin, but I would prefer if you call me Eric." He performed a knightly bow then, blushing a little for having forgotten his manners.

"May I inquire as to what your names are fair ladies?" Apparently chivalry wasn't dead as long as Eric was around.

[The Hopeslayer]

Hopeslayer watched the two battles unfold. The knight was interesting... especially since it appeared he wasn't entirely human. The knight possessed some power and skill, having crushed the squad of assault drones almost single handed. Tear's performance in the MAX was less than stellar and served the imp right to be crushed once again. Perhaps another painful reformation of his body would make him think on what he'd done wrong in the battle.

What really had Hopeslayer's attention though was the purple kitsune. It was uncanny how similar he looked to his cousin... yet he was afraid to hope that it might really be his friend that he'd thought dead for over two centuries! Yet the evidence was staring him in the face right from the monitor screens. The kitsune on the screen had the same fur patterns, same eye color, and the correct number of tails if his cousin had lived to this day and age.

"Can you really be alive Tetro? Did you really survive all these years?" Hopeslayer wasn't fully convinced yet. Either way he wanted to meet this kitsune, both to confirm his identity... and to join forces. The purple kitsune had shown great magical potential indeed during the short lived chase. Hopeslayer recalled what little remained of his forces in the area, determined to leave nothing that anyone could trace back to him. Plus, he now had a great deal to think on.

[Yuki]

Taylor was in the fetal position trampling in fear. He was not ready for something like this. John was hard enough now he had some flying bird brain and robots after him with a unknown boss he knew nothing about!! Ugh why did he have to get involved! He was no hero and now he had someone who wanted to catch him!! And this guy just killed some people!! He could easily kill him like that!! heavy tears came out of Taylor's eyes and he did not seem to hear Fox, but he did. Fox's words did not help him any though, they may have won this round but he remembered what that bird brain had said.... " My boss just wants to talk" This was not over. Taylor slowly sat up and looked at Fox. He shook his head and leaned on a wall. " This.... This is not over Fox.. Did you hear what that thing said? Its boss wants us.. If I have learned anything about bad guys from John its boss wont give up..." Taylor said as he cried and covered his face with his hands.


Sarah and Fane listened as the Knight spoke, seems he has having rotten luck with this unknown attacker as well. Not just him but a friend of his that kinda sound familiar. Though the girls had no guess who his friend may be. When the Knight suddenly stopped himself and introduced him self as Eric, Sarah and Fane looked at each other and smiled. Sarah looked back at Eric and held out her hand with a smile. " My hero name is Ice Queen... But Seeing as my cover is blown you may call me Sarah." Sarah said. Fane put one hand over her heart and gave a small bow once more. " Sir Eric, I'm Fane. It is a pleasure to meet you." Fane said and stood up straight.

[Fox]

Fox hugged Taylor again, trying to calm his friend down some. "We won Taylor, we won. If we won once, then we can win again. Plus you're not alone anymore! You've got Fane and me to help you too... wait! What happened to the girls? We need to go see if they're okay!" Fox said, suddenly losing his cool as he worried about the others they'd had to leave behind. Fox let Taylor out of the hug then, flopping down on the ground. He was tired, that much was for sure. He still wasn't used to using his nature magic in such large doses yet. Too bad the robots had been immune to his illusions as he could have done a doozy of an illusion to throw them off the trail.

Eric leaned down and kissed Sarah's offered hand instead of shaking it. She had identified herself as some sort of queen after all! As he stood back up he smiled at Sarah and Fane. "Tis a pleasure to meet you both. I hope that's the last we see of those metal ruffians for now. Is there someplace I can escort you two? I don't believe this area is very safe right now." It simply wouldn't do to leave these two ladies alone after such a battle, especially when they both seemed so drained as well. If anything else came at them it would be difficult for them to defend themselves again by Eric's reckoning.

[Yuki]

Fox's words did not help Taylor at all, he knew how things would go... And he did not like it. Some way or another whoever lead that attack on the slayers would get them. How long would they be able to fight him off?? When Fox hugged him Taylor did not remove his hands from his face. As of right now Taylor had given up, in his head there was no way out of this. A unknown foe lurking in the darkness that seemed to have lots of power. It was way worse then John... John seemed like nothing compared to this.. When Fox cried out about the girls, let go and flopped over Taylor lowered his hands and looked at him. He wanted to get up but he was just to weak to try. " Fox!! Taylor!! Are you both alright!?" Came a worried shout. Taji was running down the street to them, when she got to them she knelt down with a worried look. Taylor looked at her and shook his head being truthful. " Nio, I don't think I ever will be... Taji we need to find Sarah and Fane... Can you help us?" Taylor asked weakly. Taji frowned but nodded, she picked up Fox first in one arm and with a little help from Taylor was able to get his arm around her neck. She then stood up easily and started to walk. " Ok where to?" Taji asked.



When Eric kissed her hand Sarah have a shocked look and blushed deeply. She was not used to that kinda thing. She gave a weak smile and pulled her hand back when Eric let go. Fane side glanced Sarah and smiled, though did not laugh. Though Fane then remembered something, The griffin where did it go? She looked around at the near by buldings and saw one had been damaged. " The griffin.. I saw one but I don't know where it went.. But it seemed someone attacked it look." Fane said not trying to ignore Eric. Sarah was about to answer the Knight before Fane spoke up. Her eyes grew wide as she looked over at the building. "Your right! That bird thing... Oh no.. It couldn't be.. Taylor did he attack it???" Sarah said in alarm. Fane's eyes grew wide she knew a boy named Taylor and hoped it was not the same one Sarah spoke of. " I know a young boy named Taylor if he indeed attacked the griffin he and Fox will be in danger we must find them! Sir Eric will you please help us look for our friends?" Fane asked before Sarah took off in a run and Fane started to follow.

[Fox]

Fox wagged his tails when he saw Taji show up. "We beat a big lion-bird thing and some robots." He commented in a slightly dazed manner before changing into his smaller fox form so he'd be lighter, crawling back into Taylor's back pack but keeping his front half sticking out so he could look around. "Let's go that way!" He declared, tapping Taji on the shoulder and then pointing past her toward the way that they'd been chased earlier. "We got to make sure Sarah and Fane are okay."

Eric's eyes went a little wide at mention of a griffon. He'd never actually seen one himself but he'd certainly heard tales about them. "Of course I shall help you two look for your friends, and if need be I shall battle that griffon as well." Eric smiled at the two girls, more than happy to do his knightly duty of saving damsels in distress and generally doing good deeds for the sake of doing good. He took off at a run, catching up to them and then leading the way, though he stopped once they passed the area where the slayers had been... well slain. "I suppose we can just follow the trail of destruction... and feathers." Eric stated as he bent down and picked up an extremely large feather that looked like it belonged to an eagle or something. He held it up for Sarah and Fane to see before starting to run again.
