Another boring school day. ( Open)

Amara nodded as Fox and Eric said their ideas on how to disarm the wire traps. Though she blinked when Eric spoke of pressure plates, " pressure plates.. Lets see...." Amara said as she started to look for those. Sure enough there where some pressure plates that opened a drop off into some spikes or god only knows. As well as a few hidden traps in the walls and ceiling.. " Oh snap, Slade was one nasty dude!! Pit falls... poison gas.... He really wanted to make this was difficult... give me a few and I can disarm those so the pressure plates so they wont be a issue anymore. Though I gotta say I think I will make it so I can trigger these by the hit of a button so if we do have people who try to break in.... Well you guys get the idea." Amara said with a laugh as she went to work disarming the hidden pressure plates.

Sarah blinked as she watched Amara, dang she reminded her of Yuki. Though Yuki would have been able to do this without any tools. That's when Sarah remembred something she had a Teen titan communicator.. Yuki had given it to her.. But this was a new formed group.. Even though she had a dream of being a titan she was now part of a new group. But later she could ask the group if they would like to ally with the titans seeing she already knew the leader. As Sarah thought of Yuki and he time she had spent with her she remembred the battle she faught a long side Yuki when they broke into a base. How come she had not thought of that before??? She met the one who sent those robots.. that could be the reason they chased after her and Fane... He knows she is Ice Queen but then again so does all of Jump city.. Ugh... Sarah then stood there looking down as she went into deep thought.


Taji stood there ready to do anything if she was needed, but she had no real skill for anything, She was learning how to fight but she was still not very good.. And now she joined this group.. But she had more then just the slayers... Malady said someone from the government was after her to.. Though it never crossed her mind it was the same person who killed the slayers. Fane and Taylor then stood just waiting for Amara to get past the traps.


" Ah ha!! got it!! Ok the pressure plates have been turned off so even if you step on them nothing will happen. And I don't know if I have the tools for the wire traps so those are going to be tricky and I;m not skilled in those kinda things.. Sorry." Amara said as she kept looking around in the system to make sure there where no other traps to worry about.

[Fox]

After Amara declared that the pressure plates and lasers triggers were all disarmed, leaving only the physical trip wires in place, Fox scurried forward into the hallway. His eyes were lit up with excitement as he studied the wires and where they led. He was careful not to touch them, and instead moved over or under them a good ways into the corridor till he was certain he knew where each one was placed. He checked them all as he came back and then stopped in front of the obviously worried team.

"Those are just decoys. I think the lasers and pressure plates were the real traps. None of the wires are really hooked to anything at all. Watch!" As soon as he was done speaking, Fox recklessly went over to the nearest wire and sliced through it with one of his tiny claws. The wire parted and everyone seemed to watch in shock... and then waited for something to happen. Nothing at all occurred though.

Fox took that as a sign to go ahead and clear the rest, which he did quickly. Simply slicing the trip wires one after another, and nothing at all happened. Fox came back to the entrance grinning broadly. "Whoever set those must have just put them to divert attention away from the real traps you already disarmed. I guess this 'Slade' person you mentioned must have not liked the old fashioned stuff very much." Fox said with a little laugh.

"Fox! That was very dangerous what you just did! Thankfully you were correct and nothing happened, but you mustn't be so reckless in the future or you could get hurt or cause one of your new teammates to get hurt." Eric said in a stern voice. Fox visibly wilted under the words, his ears drooping and his smile turning upside down.

"I'm sorry... I just wanted to help..." Fox said, seemingly on the verge of tears.

Eric sighed, feeling bad now. "I'm sorry for raising my voice at you. You just need to be a little more careful next time okay? I don't want you to get hurt, I don't want anyone getting hurt. At least let someone double check next time, okay?" Eric said in a calmer tone, taking a knee and placing his hands on Fox's shoulders. Fox nodded his head, but still looked a little sad.

"Oh come here." Eric said with a grin and suddenly hugged Fox. Fox seemed surprised but returned the hug happily, instantly cheering up. After that was done Eric stood back up.

"Well it seems the way is clear now thanks to Amara and Fox. Shall we proceed to our new base of operations?" Eric asked with a kind smile to everyone present.

Amara blinked as Eric scolded Fox, she frowned but said nothing, she thought it was a little harsh to yell at Fox but then again Eric was right and if those traps had been real he could have gotten hurt. But she soon smiled when Eric seemed to back track and even hugged Fox. Well she could tell Eric may be the leader type, the stern but kind type. Though no way was she going to voice those thoughts, Taji just wanted to go over to Fox and hug him as Eric scolded him, he was just trying to help.. But she smiled when Eric hugged Fox and made him feel better. Fane and Sarah looked at each other and just smiled, well all well that end well. Taylor blinked and gulped a little, ugh he hoped not to make Eric yell at him.. Though he kinda already did.. He would just try not to get Eric upset at him. Though he knew Eric was just trying to help him before.


Amara then unplugged her hacker device and placed it back into her bag. " Yes, lets go~ There should be no more issues.. If I missed any I take full blame." Amara said as she started to talk down the passageway. Taji, Fane, Sarah and Taylor all picked up the robot parts and then started to follow Amara down the passageway. " I wonder how big this place is, and how we are going to transform it." Sarah said with a smile. " Its huge! And it will be a lot of work but you guys don't need to worry about. I got it covered. The only issue I will have will be money... But I will figure it out." said Amara. Though she said it with confidence she was not so sure but did not want the others to know that.

Eric was glad that Fox hadn't taken the scolding too harshly, as he couldn't really stay mad at the little fellow and didn't want Fox to hate him. It seemed that all the traps were finally out of the way, so picking up their scavenged parts they proceeded into the actual base. Eric couldn't help but feel a little sad at how neglected the actual church had been though and decided that he might spruce things up a bit when he had some spare time. But first things first, they needed an actual base of operations up and running!

As they exited the tunnel they emerged into a large open cavern. The place was rather barren, with some busted electronics on some walls that might have been computers or something at one point. It was really hard to tell as it looked to be covered with solid rock and partially melted... like a volcano had gone off in the room in past.

"WOW! This place is huuuuuuuge!" Fox blurted out, his voice echoing off the walls and ceiling of the nearly empty room. He bounded off to investigate any little thing that happened to grab his attention, after setting down the parts he'd been carrying.

Eric set his parts down as well and viewed the large chamber. It was barren, but that just meant they had more room to use as they saw fit in his opinion. "Impressive! I never would have imagined such a cavern hidden under that abandoned church. I think this place will suite our needs quite well once we get what we need in here." Eric stated as he walked further into the hideout. Luckily it seemed that the lighting still worked in here... though there were more than a few missing bulbs up in the ceiling. Still it was enough for even the humans to see by comfortably.

When they came to the first area of their new hide out everyone was shocked to see how huge it was. They all set down the robot parts they had been holding and started to look around. Amara took out some sort of note book and started to draw a map of sorts. She would make a better one later but for now this would have to do till everyone got used to the layout. But man it looked like a volcano went off in here... So she would have to work around the stones that where made when the lava hardened. Cuz their was no way she would be able to get the money to clear though's out of the way without people wondering what was going on. Oi this was going to be a out of work... Amara then moved away from the first area to explore slade's old hideout more.

Sarah let out a low whistle as she looked at the place, even though she almost knew everything about the titans she never got to read anything about Slade's old hidout and the battle that had taken here. She guessed most reporters where to scared to try and that the Titans may not have wanted to talk about it. " This place is gonna need lots of elbow grease." Sarah said with a small laugh as she looked around. Taji did not say anything as she looked around, her mind filled with worries. Mostly because people who helped her always ended up getting killed.. But these people where strong so she forced those thoughts out of her mind.


Taylor and Fane looked around in awe, man they had never seen anything like this place. Taylor felt he was going to spend a lot of time here.. No way could he go home now, not with some bad guy after him.. From what he knew of bad guys they would use anything they could to bring a hero down.. That's what scares him the most about joining this group. Fane walked around and used a spell to make some balls of light to better light the place so everyone could see better. " Hmm.. I might be able to use some of my magic to clean this place up." Fane said thinking out loud as she placed a hand on some rock that used to be lava.
