It had started of as a semi peaceful day, the reports coming in like normal and the scrambling of troops to various places both within the base and out in the field. Although things would soon change when one of the newer recruits brought a sealed letter to the desk of the current officer on duty. The moment the letter reached the general, she threw the poor kid out of her office. The dark haired general opened the letter swiftly and skimmed it, noting that it had been delivered two days ago but yet only reached her now. According to the correspondence, their current leader was sending over one of his best to inspect how things were being run.
Slightly annoyed, Celes walked out of her office, her air of superiority snapping those who saw her to attention. She gave them quick orders and headed over to the entrance. Based on the time, their unexpected visitor would be arriving any moment. As she walked, the sound of her boots on the floor would mingle with that of the scrambling soldiers. They were attempting to get everything in order before their guest arrived. With her hands in her pockets, Celes eyed the soldiers work, for once approving the good job they were doing.
Stopping in front of the entrance and turning to face the entirety of the people that were there, she addressed them with a single sentence, "You have exactly ten minutes before they get here. Step to it and don't screw up this time. I won't be as lenient on anyone that fails as the last general was."

Elizabeth walked down the path way with her full armor set on and her sword in its sheath and her hands behind her back. She stood up straight with a stoic expression. As she got closer to the building Elizabeth would rather be somewhere else looking for her younger sister.. But no Father in law ordered her to do a Inspection of this base... If she could she would just run away.. But she had to wait for the right timing.. Till then she had to be a pawn in a game she did not want to play.. When she got the door she just let herself in as she watched the slayers of this base running around almost looking panicked.. Well a few anyway and she guessed they where new. "I'm Elizabeth Blackwood.. I;m here to meet with umm... Celes was it?" Elizabeth called out to anyone who would hear looking rather bored.

Celes stood there, just beyond the entrance looking as serious as ever as the newer recruits were in a panicked rush until some of the veterans helped them. The veterans helped the newest of them all for the simple reason that they knew how to act as team more than the most would think. Things had just been starting to calm down and there were less people running around like madmen when Elizabeth Blackwood graced the base with her presence. Turning to face Ms. Blackwood when she spoke, Celes merely gave her a nod of acknowledgement before speaking. "Its an honor to have you here, Ms. Blackwood. Please forgive the rushed state of things, an urgent report has just come through and some of the veterans thought it would be a good way to test the potential of the new recruits." Her tone was formal, as was expected of a general in her standing.
The line she had just given Elizabeth, was in fact true. One of the veterans was assembling a small group for a recon and possible capture mission and choosing to take along a handful of the new ones for training purposes. "Please, make yourself at home and do let me know if there is anything I can do to help accommodate your stay." Although she was hoping Elizabeth's stay wouldn't be too long, her tone held no hint of the wish, instead her tone held its formality as it had with her earlier statement.

Elizabeth could tell she was not welcomed here, it was the same reaction she got when ever she was ordered to check up on bases from time to time.. And this was the first time she had been told to come here. Elizabeth nodded then started to make her way farther into the base. Eyeing everyone inside, " I see." She said as she stopped she looked around with her eyes before turning to look at Celes. " You may not like this but I have been ordered to stay a few weeks and go over all reports of your missions here and the people who work here as well. Also I want to give you this." Elizabeth said handing over some papers to Celes. "There have been rumors that Guinever, the daughter of our great leader is somewhere in this city.. When you have free men they are ordered to look for her and bring her in." Elizabeth said as she looked at Celes.

Celes took the papers that Elizabeth handed her and started skimming them quickly, her gaze flickering back to her visitor for just a moment. "Then so be it. Like I said a moment ago, make yourself at home. I suggest you stay away from the holding cells though, we have a highly dangerous one there that will easily eat you for dinner if your not careful. Feel free to look around as you wish but in the meantime, I'll go through the roster and prepare a search party for Guinivere." Though most would take Celes's words as a threat, they weren't. It was even obvious in the way she spoke that she was merely stating a fact, an observation she'd had the unfortunate experience of witnessing when one of the new recruits decided to harass the captive. With a quick thought as to whether or not to head to her office, Celes regarded Elizabeth once more, "If you'd like to start going through reports as well as the roster of people on this base, I'll gladly show you to my office." It was an offer to help her superior with whatever she was supposed to be doing. Though the fact she was offering bothered her behind the mask of cold superiority, it was the role she had to play...for now.

Elizabeth's eyes lite up when Celes said they had someone in there holding cells. She had to see who and what they had.. And if she could... Elizabeth then looked at Celes, " On second thought I will go to your holding cell, I want to see what you have down there.. I want to go in there alone and turn off all camras. That is a order. I wish to speak with it alone and off the record... Then I shall go to your office." Elizabeth said as she then started to walk off without waiting to hear Celes's reply to that as she really did not care. Yes this could be her first step in following In her little sister's footsteps..

She watched Elizabeth's reaction carefully and found it almost easy to want to let that happen. Celes knew how angry the little half breed dragon girl could get and it had already resulted in a few deaths. But an errant thought crossed her mind, something about being responsible should anything happen to the Blackwood girl. "I don't mind you going to the holding cell for this one but I'm not going to let you go alone if you choose to turn the cameras off. Its a volatile creature and has already killed quite a few of our people." Giving Elizabeth a firm look, Celes was not going to let Elizabeth get killed for an idiotic move like that.

Elizabeth could not help but let out a chuckle, " I mean no disrespect but unlike your rookies I wont tunt and harass the beast. And I know what I'm doing. It just seems you need to train your people better if they get killed by a beast that is locked up. I have been training for years and now I'm one of the best slayers. And besides.. I do have a partner so I wont be alone.. So again its a order I go in there alone and the camras turned off..." Elizabeth said really throwing her power around now though she really did not want to. But then again she could tell Celes did not like her anyway and she was not here to make any friends. So without a word Elizabeth made her way to the holding cells to meet the angry best everyone here seemed to be scared off.

Celes watched Elizabeth walk away and shook her head, muttering something along the lines of Elizabeth being an idiot. She hated the fact that their visitor had decided to throw around her power but it couldn't be helped in some situations. Calmly, Celes headed to the security room and shut down the cameras in the holding bay before heading to her office to start working on the assignment she'd been handed by the not so welcome guest.
In the little soundproof room that was her cell, Lena was busy being bored and highly annoyed when she noticed something unusual. The little red light on the cameras facing her room had gone out. At first, she was confused but a faint little smirk touched her lips when she realized it was because the cameras stopped recording. This room was more of a prison than her captors had realized. They found out she could play with sound the hard way and had thrown her in here. She couldn't effect what was on the other side of the soundproof plastic but she could effect what was here. All she had to do was find the right frequency to effect the plastic and it would break.

Elizabeth walked in and blinked when she saw a young girl in a cage, It was a young one huh? and by the looks of it she saw the cameras had been turned off and seemed to be planning something. "I would not even think about it if I where you little one. The cameras may be off but this place is till filled with highly skilled knights and I would hate to see you hurt or worse killed. My name is Elizabeth and I would like to speak with you." Elizabeth said as she made sure to stand far enough away from the cell so the girl could not reach her and if she tried to use any powers Elizabeth would be able to avoid them.
