Name: Eric Korrin
Age: Looks to be around 19 or so.
Race: Enchanted tom cat
Powers:
Weaknesses:
Date of birth: Sometime during the 14th century
Home: Somewhere in Europe, he doesn't recall exact place.
Alliance: Hero
Relationship: None yet.
Appearance: While in his knight armor:
Eric looks like a rather well groomed, caucasian teen. He stand six feet tall and has sandy blonde hair that comes down to around his shoulders. He has blue eyes that look more feline than human, no matter which form he's in. Eric has a trim, somewhat muscular build to his body and would be considered quite good looking by human standards. Besides his eyes he also has one other thing that marks him as not being entirely human, which is the pair of kitty ears on top of his head instead of normal human ears on the side of his head. The ears look like a calico cat's, mostly white in color.
Every time the new moon comes around he changes into a calico cat for the evening. He can still talk, but otherwise is a normal cat in every way.
Personality: Eric has a strong sense of justice, and wants to do the right thing. He has a rather old fashioned sense of chivalry though, seeing women as something to protect. He acts the gentleman and won't stoop to cowardly tactics such as surprise attacks. He believes in honor and doing what is right to such an extent that he's almost a cliche of the 'knight in shining armor.'
History: There once was a little calico kitten with no name. As soon as he was old enough he set off on his own, catching and eating mice and doing other feline activities. He never really knew his father and vaguely recalls his mother, though he had three sisters and two brothers but can't even remember what they look like now.
He had an average life as a cat, wandering the country side and going where ever he felt like. It was a rather standard life of a stray tom cat. He dealt with humans very little, finding them odd but he did like the milk that they sometimes set out for him and other cats when he traveled near farms. It was his love of milk that finally changed his life. As he traveled through a rather strange forest, chasing a mouse to be precise, he spotted a small cottage. Little did he know that it was a witch's cottage, not that he'd even know what a witch was. All he cared about was the saucer of milk on the doorstep. Yet when he went to drink it the owner of the cottage came out and simply picked him up, as he was a friendly tom cat who enjoyed the occasional petting. The witch continued to feed him milk, and the forest presented plenty of mice and birds to eat. He decided to settle down, considering himself lucky. The witch named him Eric.
The witch had always wanted a companion to keep her company, and while a cat was a nice start it was no substitute for another human. She decided to create a potion to change her new pet into a human! The witch toiled many weeks collecting all the ingredients for the potion, and before too long she had everything she needed. She set about creating the potion and everything went perfectly, except for one minor detail... a stray strand of cat fur which landed in the potion and went unnoticed. When the witch gave the potion to her cat if seemed to do just as she wanted! The kitty changed into a human... except for two minor details. His eyes still looked feline and his ears were those of a cat! Yet this seemed good enough for the witch, and she named her now son 'Eric' after her own father. She was surprised how he reverted back to a total cat once every month, on the night of the new moon. Eric changed back to his now usual form though as soon as the sun rose the following morning.
The witch, who became like a mother to Eric, taught him many things... such as human speech. She taught him everything he'd need to know to live among humans as well as a few things about magic. Yet he didn't have the gift to use magic and she could only show him how to defend himself against it. Eventually the witch grew old and died however, leaving Eric alone again. Now in his teen years (as a human anyway), he left the only home he really knew in search of human company.
He found a castle with a village outside it's walls and did odd jobs to earn a living. He knew how to make herbal remedies and was in good physical shape, yet most thought him cursed due to his feline ears and eyes. He was never fully accepted by the people there, but was tolerated. Even though he wasn't really accepted he still cared for the people there and wanted to protect them, thus he joined the guards. He was a quick learner, and soon the Knight captain took notice of the youth's skills and made Eric a squire.
The captain was sent off one day to slay an evil sorcerer. It should have been an easy mission, despite the sorcerer's reputation as being quite powerful. The captain had a suit of enchanted armor, said to be able to withstand even a dragon's blows and ward off magic with equal ease. His shield was equally enchanted, and he wielded a warhammer said to be able to smite any evil being. Eric was honored to travel with him on his quest to slay the evil sorcerer. Unfortunately things would not go as planned. The captain took ill while on the road, and surprisingly died from his illness. Eric refused to let the captain's quest go unfinished and took the enchanted gear for himself, determined to slay the evil sorcerer himself. He took the captain's last name as his own, since he only had a first name till then. The armor changed shape to fit Eric perfectly, and the hammer and shield seemed almost weightless. He knew he could vanquish the sorcerer with the captain's armor and weapons.
Sure enough Eric found the lair of the sorcerer. He fought through the madman's minions and finally came to confront the villain himself. The two did battle for hours, both growing tired from fatigue of the battle. Eric charged with all his remaining might and managed to land a fatal blow on the sorcerer, but it didn't kill the man instantly. With his dying breath, the sorcerer cast a dangerous spell. It was designed to send Eric into oblivion, but as he was dying, the sorcerer miscast it slightly. Instead of sending the young knight to his death it instead sent him forward through time and space.
