Name: Izzack O'Connor a.k.a Death
Age: 17
Powers:
Spell Craft: Through vigorous training Death has learned how to harness magic to produce a wide variety of spells which he has learned.
Weaknesses:
Attire: Death's clothes and weapon are the tools which he uses to channel his powers. Should anything happen to them to where he cannot use them, he is powerless until he can find a way to get them back or replace them.
Energy: Every spell that Death uses saps the energy from him. The amount of energy expended can be from the equivalent of walking briskly a mile to running a marathon based on the power of the spell and how wide of an area it covers.
Time: As Death casts spells, he needs to waste some time chanting to channel his power. Again, the time that is needed increases as the power of a spell rises.
Alliance: neutral
Alignment: neutral good
Relationships: none
Hair: Grey
Eye Color: blue
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 175lbs.
Personality: Izzack tends to be a timid sort, always wanting to help others, but always too scared to actually try. He tends to hide his face using his robe, especially if he has caused a disturbance, which tends to happen when he is out in the open.
While cowardly and often cynical of his life, Death tends to open up and become more comfortable with his surroundings if he finds himself in an aggressive environment, such as a fight.
If Izzack takes the time to get to know a person, he tends to find himself highly loyal to the person if he finds that it is someone who shares his belief. Regardless of if it is friendly to him or not, however, he has severe trouble in dealing with large groups of people.
History: Izzack O'Connor was raised in an orphanage. He never knew nor really cared if his parents had abandoned him or if they were dead, he felt that it didn't make much of a difference. As time passed and he grew older, Izzack left the orphanage one night and went to live on the streets. He lived well enough, eating whatever he could find in soup kitchens or garbage cans. He had little ambition and even less drive and he was content with doing nothing and living in a box.
Then, one day as he was picking through the garbage, a strange, hooded man appeared before him, giving him a chance at power that he could only dream of. Apprehensive at first, Izzack refused, only to have the figure allow him to change his offer by putting on a robe which he left behind. As time went on, Izzack found himself more and more curious about what the strange man meant when he spoke of such power.Soon the curiosity was too much for Izzack to bear so he decided to put on the robe and see for himself what such power could be.
He found himself ripped through space and placed in an oddly tranquil garden, only to be assaulted by a frail looking man with a scythe. He found later that this man would be his teacher from which he would learn the powers that he was to receive.
After much training and so much stress his hair prematurely grayed, Izzack was let back into the world that he knew, only this time he had a drive to make the most of his powers and help those who went without. He quickly found himself an old, dilapidated house and decided to make it his "headquarters" So to speak.
At first, Izzack tried to work as a superhero without an alliance, but found himself discouraged as people seemed to believe that he was a villain, going so far as to name him "Death", a name which stuck with him as he continued.
Soon, Death decided that if he was to be recognized as a man not to be feared, he decided that he would have to become a part of an organization of heroes. It wasn't long before he found out about the titans. Without any delay, he began to try to get the titan's attention, and make him seem like a good guy.
Though it was difficult, and many times he felt like giving up, he eventually was able to get onto good terms with the group of heroes. This acquaintanceship eventually opened up a new chapter in the young man's life. He began to feel a little more confident, and, though he still occasionally found himself in less than fortunate situations, he eventually used this new found confidence to request to join the titans.
As of yet, he still resides in his broken down house, for he did not wish to intrude, and he felt no reason to stick around the tower, so long as he had a communicator. He works primarily at night, patrolling the streets, and using his less than charming appearance to unnerve would be criminals.
