Name: Rend and Tear
Age: Unknown
Race: Imps
Powers: Both of these imps are able to perform a few basic abilities. They have wings, which enable them both to fly and hover. They can also conjure weak balls of flame, but due to their size a direct attack from these would likely hurt as much as burning your finger on a match. Rend is able to posses any animal, using their bodies as if they were his own. This includes weak willed or sleeping humans. Anyone with magical talent however are immune to this ability. The animal in question simply blacks out for the duration of the possession. He can possess any animal, though the longer he maintains this possession the harder it is to remain in control. Tear has a similar ability, which is the ability to possess machines. The larger or more complex the machine, the harder it is to control though.
Lastly is their ability to regenerate. Since they are not of this world they can not be killed while inhabiting it. Instead when their bodies are destroyed they turn into a spirit form which travels back to a crystal in Hopeslayer's lair where they reform their physical forms, this process takes about twenty-four hours. So normal attacks can and will hurt their physical forms and cause them pain, but destroying them is rather difficult as they can simply reform and come back the next day. They do not enjoy having to reform a physical body though and tend to be cowardly around people that have proven able to best them.
Date of birth: Unknown
Home: Planes of Chaos, though now reside with Hopeslayer
Alliance: Minions to Hopeslayer
Relationship: Rend and Tear are twins, but have no other relations.
Appearance: Rend and Tear are two twin imps. They are each only a foot tall. They have scaly hides and leathery, bat-like wings. Their mouths are full of tiny little fangs and their hands each end in a small claw. They're kind of ugly, yet cute at the same time. Rend is red in color while Tear is blue.
Personality: The two imps love to cause trouble whenever they can, to whoever they can. They tend to bicker with each other over almost anything, and both try their best to make sure they're the master's favorite. As such they obey only their current master, who happens to be Hopeslayer. They are cowardly most of the time, but quick to gain confidence when the odds are stacked in their favor. Despite their innate cowardice they will usually fight as long as they are able and don't overly worry about having their physical forms destroyed, though they don't enjoy the sensation at all. They are easily distracted by toys and games though, much to Hopeslayer's annoyance.
History: Not much is known about these two imps. They were summoned by Hopeslayer and have been bound to him ever since. They like how malicious their master is toward humans and serve him willingly at this point. When they are not doing tasks for him they are usually out tormenting humans, arguing with one another, or playing any number of games.
Anything else: Despite their near constant bickering, they are actually fond of one another. They enjoy taunting their opponents and also tend to gloat. Destroying their crystal they use to reform their physical bodies inside would banish them back to their plane of origin.
