Thirteen hours. Thirteen, aggravating, grueling hours, twenty six in all, if you count the flight there and back. Kyo sighed as he walked through the emptying streets as dusk began to fall upon the orange-haired male. He had his suit case tossed over his shoulder lazily as he wandered through the familiar neighborhoods. His piercing red eyes showed that the Japanese male was lost deep in thought, the memories of what went between him and Akito going over and over again, as if it was a video, with the repeat button broken so he couldn't switch it off.
SLAP!
The memory of that sound made Kyo flinch, and his hand jerked up in reaction, the back of his hand stroking the area it had taken place. In his memory he could recall his head jerking to the side from the impact, he taking a step back meanwhile. The room was dark, he felt cold.. He still could see though. Akito remained standing there in that form for a bit longer before straightening his posture out, his hair covering his eyes, hiding his expression.
"You must be joking. Just when I thought the cat couldn't get any stupider. It sure didn't take you long to blow things now did it? You're lucky she already lost her memories, and probably for the best. Who would want to be by some creature as repulsive as you? Do you really think she ws going to care for you forever? She would just end up like your mother did."
"Shut up!! That's not true! You don't know anything about Sara so don't talk about her as if you do!"
SLAP! He did it once more, same cheek as well. Kyo grit his teeth.
"Don't think you have the right to speak to me in that tone. Are you really selfish enough that you would cause someone else the same painful fate as before, or are you just really that cold?" Kyo grit his teeth harder, doing his best to hold his tongue. He could feel his body heat beginning to rise, the flames within him getting harder to retain. "You need to lean your place. You'll be in your special little place until I say so.~" Kyo flinched. The place where the cats were held after they turned eighteen, until they died..
"You're going to keep me in there until it's too late.." Kyo sneered.
"Now I'm not that mean, I don't have quite the black heart you do.~ I'll let you out to play for a bit before then."
Kyo closed his eyes, the memories of being in there.. He felt so alone. Then when Akito came to visit... He shuddered, and gasped a bit as he stopped. he suddenly felt sick to his stomach, and so sat down on the curb for a minute and looked around to gather his surroundings. Kyo quickly recognized this place.. It was Sara's neighborhood. She was just down a couple of houses.. The last time he saw her, she didn't remember him.. TShe didn't remember much thanks to the ass that stole her memories and tried to take her from him.. He beat the hell out of him until he was pulled off. Maybe...
Kyo then stood up, and walked down the sidewalk. He stopped in front of her house, and examined the outside of it for a bit. He wondered how Kurtis, her older brother, was doing, but quickly changed his thoughts to his red-headed Sara.. Was she okay? With small gulp, he walked up to the door. Balling his fist up tight, he knocked on the door loud enough for it to be heard and waited for a response, looking off into the distance. His heart pounded fast in his chest as he waited.
