It was still cold. WHY was it still cold? WHY did she have to crash during a cold season? Talk about bad luck. Fortunately for her, there were warm things for her to wear. This was one time she saw the benefit of wearing clothes. It helped you stay warm. Today, she was exploring the city again in more detail. But this time, she had a fuzzy new friend with her! Someone who was atleast from this planet and knew where things were better then she did.
And she totally wasn't partaking in the thing humans called a piggy back ride. She wasn't sure why it was called that, but that's what most people called it. Also fortunately for Fox, she wasn't that heavy. Mostly cause she wasn't that big. "Where is Fox taking Mo first?" Mo asked clinging to Fox for warmth, and because he was fuzzy. What more reason did she need?

Fox found it a little bit funny that he was the one giving a piggyback ride to Mo, usually the little kitsune was the one getting such rides from others. It was sort of weird being on the other end for a change, but he didn't mind at all. Mo didn't have the warm fur that he did so he was happy to share his warmth as they made their way through the city. He was wearing a little gray hoodie and some cargo pants, though neither really hid his features that well. It was impossible to miss the three tails sticking out of the back of his pants after all.
Fox's ears twitched when Mo asked where they were going. He had a couple ideas but his body's own needs decided for him where they'd go first, his stomach growling a little bit.
"How about we get something to eat first? A nice hot meal should warm you up a bit, plus there are a lot of really tasty things to eat around here." Fox said with a happy yip as he turned the corner on the sidewalk, coming to a street lined with restaurants on both sides. The smell of food in the air was almost intoxicating to the kitsune and it was hard to keep himself from drooling.

Mo was in her human shape, and was alittle smaller in size then Fox hence the less weight. Well, she wasn't as solid as Fox either. She was wearing a warm fuzzy jacket, and cozy sweatpants which did wonders against the cold. But Fox was just better to cling to for warmth. "Mo is fine with that," Mo replied nuzzling against Fox.
She joined Fox in smelling the air, though hers wasn't close to as refined as his. But something caught her eye faster then her nose. "That place looks good," Mo commented, pointing at a place that caught her attention.

The place Mo was pointing was in fact one of Fox's favorite places. It was easy to see why Mo had picked it out of all the other places to eat as the building was rather unique. It was a Chinese restaurant called 'The Golden Dragon' and the entrance was a big eastern dragon's mouth, of course painted a bright shiny gold color. It wasn't real gold of course, but the shininess of the thing had first attracted the kitsune and the food inside kept him coming back.
"Oh yeah! That's a good choice! They got really yummy chicken and stuff!" Fox said as he hurried down the sidewalk with his friend, making a beeline right for the doors. They opened as he approached and they went inside, where it was warmer. The aroma inside was even better than it had been outside, though there was a bit of noise with the clinking of dishes and plates not to mention the hiss of cooking food coming from the kitchens. Still a little noise was easy to put up with for good food.
"Hi! Table for two please!" Fox said as he walked up to the hostess, holding up two fingers to indicate himself and Mo.

Yay for warmth! But she was still latched onto Fox because... well it's Fox! But that didn't stop her from having a look around the place. There were people eating at tables, long counters with food sprawled out on them that other people were taking from and placing on plates. What a wonderful place!
Mo got alittle distracted as they were led to a table, actually stretching herself so she could have a longer look at some of the food before she retracted her upper body back. If that didn't get any looks, nothing would! She eventually hopped off of Fox's back when they got to their table.

Thankfully the staff was used to Fox's frequent visits by this point, so they simply smiled and led the kitsune to a table. They were more interested in his friend though, used to him usually coming to dine alone. When Mo stretched to get a better view of things that certainly garnered her a view looks, but they simply assumed she was some sort of super hero which wasn't too odd in this city.
Fox smiled at Mo as she got off his back and took a seat at the booth that there table was located at. He hopped up and sat next to her, not even bothering with the other seat across the table from them. Fox simply liked being near his friends, so he saw nothing wrong with this.
The waitress smiled at Fox and Mo, handing two menus to them and giving each a glass of water.
"Do you two need some time to look at the menus, or is there anything I can start you out with?" The waitress asked politely.
"I'd like a cola to drink, oh and bring a big batch of stuffed meat buns and eggrolls to start out." Fox said with a smile before turning his head to look at Mo.
"Everything here is really good, but if you're not sure what to get you should just order the same stuff I do." He suggested to her, knowing that she was rather new to Earth and how things were done.

"Mo will have the same," Mo said, realizing after a moment or two that she was looking at her menu upside down. "Oh! And this!" Mo added, pointing to a picture of chinese dumplings. It definitely was easier to be herself around here then she originally thought. "Mo is starting to like Jump," Mo smiled.

"Very good choice. I will be back with your appetizers." The waitress said with a smile, jotting the order down and then leaving a moment. She came back quickly with the drinks and two straws for the strange, yet cute couple. That done she left to see to her other tables.
"I'm glad you like it here. I was a little worried myself when I first found myself here, but it's a really nice place with lots of fun stuff to do. Well, I mean there are still some bad things too but that's just cause of some bad people." Fox said as he tapped his straw on the table to get the paper off before sticking it into his beverage and taking a sip. He didn't know why, but he always found drinks with a straw to be more fun.

Mo was still learning how to read english. That was both a problem but also exciting part about new planets. She considered her drink carefully, noticing the ice cubes floating in it. That didn't automatically mean it was a bad thing, but seeing ice always made her pause for a moment. She tried to mimic Fox's way of getting the straw out of it's plastic case and succeeded! The first of many victories as she tried to blend in more on Earth.
"Mo agrees. But Mo also thinks that you could say that about any place," Mo agreed, taking a wary sip of her drink. It wasn't as cold as she was expecting. She worried for nothing, but was still wary of those ice cubes. "That is the one thing they all have in common," Mo added thoughtfully, taking a longer sip of her delicious drink.

Fox considered Mo's words and nodded his head as he sipped his drink through the straw. It seemed true enough, though he didn't remember his old forest home with his clan being nearly so dangerous... of course it hadn't been nearly as much fun either. Maybe that was a tradeoff that had to be made, though that didn't seem quite right to him.
"I guess you're right Mo. I just wish that everyone could get along better, as most are pretty nice people." Fox sipped at his beverage some more before speaking again.
"So where would you like to go after we're done eating? We could go play some games, probably inside ones since it's cold outside. There's a neat place that the humans call an arcade that has all sorts of stuff to do!" Fox liked that place despite the loud noises. Luckily he'd brought his earplugs so that wouldn't be much of a bother if they decided to go there. The little kitsune was always up for a bit of fun with friends, and most of the Guardians always seemed too occupied with training, school, or other things and could rarely spare the time to just have fun with him.
