History: R.C's life has always been uncertain since the day she was born. Her mother was the first person to die from R.C's power. The doctors were baffled as to how it happened, because her mother had been perfectly healthy when she gave birth. Her early childhood had it's ups and downs, no one else died, but unusual things still happened more often then normal. Her dad died when she was six, in a freak car accident, but she was perfectly fine outside a few scapes and bruises. And so was the driver of the other car.
She grew up in various foster homes, never having enough time to really connect to anyone due to the strange goings on. Not all of them ended badly... at first. She managed to live the good life for awhile after one of her foster families won the lottery, but they burned through their money quickly and went into poverty where they couldn't afford an extra mouth to feed.
R.C's life became alittle more stable when she was old enough to live out on her own, atleast in comparison to all the people who benefited/suffered around her. She was so used to not knowing what was going to happen, she began to enjoy the challenges it brought. Not satisfied with a normal life, she began a life of crime as a burglar, courier, and thief. Sometimes she accepted contracts, sometimes she struck out on her own. As with everything else, not all of her jobs went smoothly. She landed in jail a couple of times, but she always found a way to get out in the end. She has since been roaming across the country, eventually coming to Jump City.

- Twist of Fate: R.C is passively surrounded by a fluctuating, undetectable field that manipulates the chances of SOMETHING happening. R.C has no control over it. The field doesn't only affect R.C, it affects everyone it envelopes. The event that happens is never known, and can range from winning at poker, winning the lottery, finding a hundred dollar bill on the sidewalk, and any other possible event- the key word is POSSIBLE. This field goes both ways, and can also make anyone enveloped incredibly unlucky aswell as lucky. And sometimes nothing unusual will happen. It can go either way.
Skills: - Acrobatic: R.C did alot of gymnastics in her earlier childhood to teen years. While not at the extreme level of Robin, she knows how to land on her hands or feet more often then her butt, and is more likely to avoid getting hit. She also has good balance.
- Gut Feeling: A skill she learned to cope with the... bizarre and fickle changes her life goes through. It's still impossible to predict with certainty what will happen, but her instinct has been honed to predict patterns. She's simply more likely to 'sense' when something good or bad is gonna happen, but there's still a good chance something totally random will happen that she doesn't see coming.
- Resourceful: Ever had an off day? Where nothing seems to go right? R.C has those in a more literal sense. But what doesn't kill her, makes her stronger and more skillful after she finds a way to make her own luck.
Weaknesses - Mortal: Anything that would kill a mortal can still kill her.
- Fickle Fate: On good days, Roxxie is very lucky to the point of always coming up on top. But on bad days, she could run into EVERY rival she's ever encountered. And there's no telling when her luck will go south at the flip of a coin. On the darker side, her luck can also cause harm to her loved ones, making her keep from getting attached to people.
- Not my card: Because she got her cards from a wizard, she won't know what every card in her deck does. Some of them are rather cryptic and can cause her more problems then good if it's not used at the right time. She also only has 52 cards, when they're gone, she has to wait 24 hours for the deck to restock.
Equipment: - Magic Playing Cards: A deck of 52 that R.C won off a wizard. That's her story and she's sticking to it. A versatile deck of cards that grant R.C a variety of one use 'spells' that range from turning a card into a fireball, lightning bolt, a stone wall, or summoning items or creatures. R.C has a hard time telling what some cards do, and if used at the wrong time, can cause problems for her. The deck is magically bound to her, and seems to restock every 24 hours.
- Handgun: JUST incase she runs out of cards, but still needs a weapon to fend off attackers.
Psychological Profile
Personality: R.C is a resiliant, and independant young woman trapped in an ocean of uncertainty. Will she wake up with cramps? Will she wake up to her room on fire? Will someone kill her in the middle of the night? R.C tries to live everyday like it's her last day on earth, which with her luck, it could be one day if she isn't careful. This should make her more cautious, but it actually makes her bolder. She loves taking chances, but sometimes it's not always worth the risk. Sometimes you gotta know when to fold. Not surprisingly enough, R.C has something of a gambling problem and has lost plenty of money in casinos.
R.C is neutral in nature, and has only taken to crime mostly because of the excitement. She rarely has to actually steal for herself, and she mostly just steals it for the sake of the challenge. The harder it is, the more rewarding it is when she succeeds. Anything she doesn't need is donated to charity, which R.C gives her karma points. She's alittle superstitious.
While unaware of her powers, R.C is hiding some "war wounds" so to speak. She's abit of a loner at times because of the fact that sometimes when someone is around her, something bad happens to them.
