Personality: Seemingly cold and uncaring, Celes is a proud and noble person. She speaks to everyone with manners, even the enemies she looks down on. She is the type of person who would purposely draw attention to herself before intervening in a fight as she believes that sneak attacks are cowardly and beneath her. She is quite the actress, using her skills to remain undetected as she walks alongside normal people. The main difference between her and other slayers is that she enjoys watching the pain on a mythical creatures face before they die, as it lessens the amount of suffering she feels they have dealt to her. In short, she believes she is protecting the people by exterminating these creatures and does not see any mythical creature as a person with feelings. Though she walks the path of darkness, it is possible to show her the truth and have her change sides but to do that it would destroy her other goal. While she works for the Slayers and appears as one of their best, she is actively working to uncover their secrets as asked by her mother's dying breath.
History: Most of Celes's history is unknown. She speaks little of it and what is mentioned in official files is that she's spent most of her life entangled with the organization that calls themselves Slayers. Her mother had been a part of the organization and was a well respected member. Even the blade she wielded was regarded as a legend. The only thing that was brought to light was that a dragon with the power of sound attacked her family home and killed both her mother and her father. Upon the death of her mother, Celes picked up her mother's blade and tried to fight off the dragon herself. She was thrown by one swipe of the claw and in the process lost her right eye. Ever since that day, she has sworn revenge on the night black dragon of sound and has become a full member of the organization.
During her time with the organization, she has been tested using various means to determine both her skill level as well as flush out any potential inhuman traits she may have. The tests that took the longest though were the medical tests. Thanks to her unique DNA, she was able to pass as a full blooded human because that is exactly what she was. The only difference was that she was born with the ability to use magic. It became a secret that only her and her brother knew of and because of that, she pulled strings to make sure she got partnered up with him on various missions. The missions the pair were sent on ranged in difficulty but they were mainly all successes, except for a more recent expedition. It was a failure of a grand scale. She'd used the knowledge gained through the missions to locate the family of the dragon that had attacked her home and sent her brother out to lead an attack while she pulled the strings from the shadows. The end result was that there was an anomaly in the data, an anomaly that got the entire squad decimated and her brother severely injured. The job was a failure and since then, her brother has chased the dragon from that night to her current base of operations, Jump City.

- Due to being born into the rare species called Homo Magi, she has a natural affinity for magic. She is human only with the difference that she was born with her powers. Each and every one of her spells revolve around a language that is now dead. Latin. Her spells are solely spoken and cannot be inscribed but they can be infused with other objects. The fact the language her spells are tied to is dead, translation and pronunciation are extremely difficult and poses its own challenge. She is capable of using any amount of spells as long as she can speak but the cost is taxing as it drains energy from the body depending on how powerful the spell is. It is possible to be killed by using a spell too strong for her alone to cast and it is possible to draw power from outside sources. Currently, she uses spells as a reinforcement for her swordsmanship but she is capable of using spells without her blade. She also prefers not to use spells in front of her fellow Slayers or she'll be ousted as a Witch.
