Just another day ( Open)

As kaleo stood there she felt it. The magic of reaper had been used near by. Kaleo frowned and started to move. It could be someone else in the hospital was going to die but she could not take the chance it could be Daniel. She had worked hard to save him she was not going to give up now. The healers where on the way Daniel still had a chance! Running through the doors Kaleo used her powers to find the room where Daniel was. She then entered the room holding up her detective badge. " Please stop what you are doing. Some healers are coming so there is no longer need of you to be here. Please leave." The doctors started to protest but the look she gave them made them stop what they where doing and they left the room.

When they left Kaleo started to set up wards that would be able to keep a reaper away. Not for very long though but anytime she could get could mean Daniel's life. Though doing this would show what she is... But right now Kaleo did nor care, If this was the reaper she had met at the grave yard she felt he would just take Daniel without hearing a word she had to say. Emma had not noticed that Kaleo had left as she was looking for any signs of the healers that she had called. But they had not shown up yet..

[Izzy]

Izzack couldn't help but scowl as he came up to the room the signal in his head was coming from, only to find all the doctors leaving. His disapproval only increased as he noticed that something was keeping him from entering. "Tell me, has this man done something so heinous that you would have him not only die, but you would prolong his suffering so?" he asked, his voice hardly resisting the rage he felt inside at such an act. As a reaper, he would not touch a soul, no matter how injured until the moment of death. As a person, he would not even attempt to begin early on his duties if there was even a shred of chance that the person might survive. So, seeing this, what he viewed as some kind of masochistic torture, was something he could not only not stand behind, but something that required retribution. His body tensed, preparing to leap into battle whilst his mind searched for a spell that might help overcome the wards.

Kaleo was glad she had gotten the wards up, for a moment later she heard a angry voice of a reaper. Though it did not sound like the one she had met at the graveyard. Kaleo then turned to look at the reaper and gave a shocked exprassion, " Y-your not the one from the graveyard." Kaleo said then shook her head. Great a reaper she had not met... She could only hope this one would listen. " I'm not trying to make him suffer. I'm trying to keep him alive reaper. Please listen to me. I do not know this man I found him along with a young puppy girl today. I took him here and I have called a healer. Her name is Vivian and she is on her way. I only set up the wards after I felt you near in fear you would take his soul before he had a chance." Kaleo said and hoped this reaper would trust her.. Though it would be hard seeing as she did not trust him.

[Izzy]

"So you called Vivian, fine. That doesn't explain why you sent help away! What if she takes too long to get here? The doctors could or could not make him better, but at least they would give more time! You better hope Vivian gets here in time, or there will be hell to pay." Izzack promised, though his didn't seem quite as angry as he did before. The woman let a lot of information slip to him. Not only did she reveal a link between her and Vivian, she mentioned some other reaper. The only other reaper Izzack knew was one he'd rather not think about. Nobody liked to think of those so similar to them falling from grace, and for a reaper, the effect was much more shocking. A reaper was a force of order, and if they fell to chaos, was there hope for the rest of the world? "So, where are they?" he asked, trying to turn his thoughts away from such negative things.

Kaleo paled a little at the reapers words. But she did not falter. "I was expecting another reaper.. I sent the doctors away to protect them.." Kaleo said, she had no reason to lie to the reaper before her. But what reason did he have to believe her? This was surely a mess that she may not get out of.. When the reaper asked where are they Kaleo paled a but more. he was asking about Vivian, "I.. I don't know." Kaleo said and knew that answer would not please the reaper.


Vivian, Summer and Sadie where close to the hosptal now. They where flying as fast as they could. When they got there they landed but before they could get in Emma ran out to them. " Are you the healers?? Please help Daniel!" She said, Vivian looked at Emma smiled and nodded, " Don't worry we will help him." Vivian said and ran inside, with Sadie Summer and little Emma right behind her. Once inside she asked about Daniel and was told where to go. The four of them then went down the hallway only to find Izzy there talking to someone. Emma let out a scream at the sight of a reaper and hid behind Summer. Vivian blinked. " I-Izzy?? what huh? Whats going on here?" Vivian asked.

[Izzy]

"It would appear that you've made friends with a fool. Word of advice, woman, if you fear for somebody's safety, don't put another's life at risk just so that you can go about 'protecting'...I'll be nearby. Do your best, Vivian, oh, and sorry for scaring you, little one, I tend to do that a lot." Izzack said before walking off, most of his anger gone, except for a few pulsing thoughts inside his head, demanding he go yell at them all some more. He pushed the thoughts down easily, though, for most of his emotions were filled with dread and sorrow. He hoped that the lad would be fine, but that did not do much to calm him. "Come on, Vivian, don't let me down now..." he mumbled as he sat down on a chair.

As for Daniel, his condition was worsening slowly, but surely. At the rate it was going, the rest of his body would shut down shortly, and soon after, he'd bleed out. Despite this, there was that same cocky smile on his face, as if he were expressing amusement at all the ridiculous drama sprouting up around him.

" He is not a friend... In fact he scares me.." Kaleo said and lowered the wards and got out of the way as Vivian, Sadie and Summer came in and stood around Daniel. the three then started to glow and held their hands over Daniel. Healing lights from their hands then went into Daniel causeing his body to glow. The wounds started to heal on the outside and the inside. Though it would be a little while before Daniel would be fully healed. Emma found herself in the hallway alone with the reaper. She moved along the walls and went inside running over to Kaleo and hugged her. Kaleo blinked gave a weak smile knelt down and hugged Emma back.

[Izzy]

"I suppose that's that, then." Izzack said to himself as the feeling in the back of his head began to recede. "Then I'm off! You may wish to keep an eye on your fool friend, Vivian, lest she endanger even more with her actions!" he called before began to make his way back to the roof, and then, back to his home.

"Man, can't a guy get a little shut eye every once in a while? Ah...well...when are we gonna fight more monsters? Soon, I hope." Daniel asked. His eyes didn't open yet, and he didn't feel much better, but at least he could think properly again, and that was something special. "Where's the scardy cat? She hasn't run off while I wasn't keeping an eye on her, has she? It'd be a pain to have to hunt down my monster lure again." he chuckled. It felt good to chuckle, even if it caused a bit of pain to flow through his body.

Vivian rasied a eyebrow when Izzy spoke of the woman that called her here. She would have to tell Izzy later that this is the first time she had ever seen the Kaleo. Though for now she had to focuse on healing Daniel. The wounds where healing nicely so Daniel would be back on his feet soon.

Kaleo then let go of Emma and stood up. "She is still here. But I think Monster hunting should be the last thing you do for a while. " Kaleo said shaking her head. Emma frowned when Daniel called her monster bait. "Bait..... Bait!! And here I was worried about you! I'm going home!"" Emma said and stomped out of the room. Kaleo just sighed and shook her head. "Oh dear..""

[Izzy]

"What are you talking about? I'm healthy and hale...whatever that means. I'm goin-ah, you're leaving? That's too bad." Daniel said, a humored smile forming on his face at Emma's outburst. "I'll have to find her again later. She attracts monsters like you wouldn't believe...I think. So, how about you K...Ka...Collie? You want to help me fight some beasties?" he asked as if it was just a simple favor he was requesting.

With more effort than he felt was necessary, Daniel managed to open his eyes. "Oh, so we're at...the place! So, where's that egghead you wanted me to fight, Collie?" he asked. Some thoughts that had been distorted by the fuzzy nature of his wounded mind had remained through the healing. That, or perhaps he remembered it all clearly now, but he just wanted to mess with the woman some more.
