Kaleo said nothing but did chuckle again at Daniel's words. Yep a stobborn fool this one was. But a cute one not annoying as most. When he asked for her to stop Kaleo nodded and stopped and watched as he opened his case and asked Emma to put the sword inside. " If you call me crybaby one more time I will shoot you in the foot!"" Emma threatend as she dragged the sword over to case and placed it inside like Daniel asked and even closed and locked it for him. " Not everyone can be brave as a fool like you. " Emma said in a hurt tone and started to walk up a head of Kaleo and Daniel tears forming in her eyes. Emma had really stepped out of her cunfurt zone for this monster hunt and even killed one... "Oh dear.. Seems you have gone a little to far my friend." Kaleo said with a sigh as she slowly started to walk again following Emma and the ghost girl.

"Oh my! I fear you know my one weakness. I can't handle having my shot foo...foot shot. It's like my Achilles' heel, only it's the whole foot." Daniel said, picking up his guitar case. It sure felt much heavier than usual, and the process of standing back up dizzied him again. Man, where did that monster manage to get alcohol. Never mind that, where did it find the time to slip him a drink, during the fight. Must have been one subtle beast. "Are you kidding me? Everybody can be as brave as me, but they all adore their precious 'self preservation', and 'logic', and 'knowing how to read'. If they just got rid of all that, bam! Instant perfect specimen of bravery. And that's the story of why I never learned how to math." he chuckled as he plodded along.

"You think so? I would say so, but it's hard not to. She's an amusing one. Even more amusing to mess with. Kind of a scardy cat, though...ah well, I'd say sorry, but I don't even know that word." he whispered to Kaleo with a weak grin.

Emma ignored Daniel and just kept on walking. He must have been dropped on his head when he was a baby not to know about other people's feelings.. Well hopfully this would be that last time she would ever see that idiot again.... The ghost girl said nothing and just kept on leading the way. She was not good with words in life and that had not changed in death. Kaleo sighed and looked at Daniel as they walked, " I think you should not be so hard on her.. If she is normaly scared I'd say she showed how brave she can be going on a monster hunt with a chance at being killed." Kaleo said in a whisper. " I can see the exit! " the ghost girl said and ran up again and Emma followed close behind. "Ah good.. Now all we have to do is walk to my car and I can drive you to the hospital." Kaleo said with a smile.

"Fair enough, but I like to hold people who show themselves as above others in certain things to a higher standard than others, eh? The bravest get called cowards, the most beautiful called ugly. The works, you weird lookin' broad...s? No, just the one." Daniel said, laughing on the inside as he watched for how This lady would react to THAT.

"Man, are you sure we can't kill some more guys? It was rather fun, you know, wailing on some stupid beast...well, I suppose the best things in life tend to be the briefest..." Daniel sighed. Again, it was difficult to tell his emotions with just his voice. "Well, in any case, I'm ready for more fights when I get done with the doctor...maybe I'll fight the doctor! The egg headed idiot will never see it coming!" he laughed, then immediately cringed in pain. Man, laughing hurt!

Kaleo merely chuckled when Daniel called her a weird looking broad. She had been called worse and even if Daniel where to come up with a better insult it would not have bugged her much anyway. For Kaleo has learned to just let things slide and not let the small things bug her. " My my, Well I must say if you hold your standers to high no one will be able to reach them. You may not like how everyone is not like you but that's how its meant to be. Everyone has his or her own strangth and weakness my friend." Kaleo said with a smile as she left the park and started to make her way to her car. Though at the exit the ghost girl stopped and Emma turned to look.


" Whats the matter? can't you come?" Emma asked. the ghost girl shook her head, " Sorry... For whatever reason I can't leave... Well Good luck Emma I guess I will see you again sometime?" The ghost said and walked back into the park. Emma felt like she was leaving a new friend behind and waved before running after Kaleo and Daniel. By the time she got there Kaleo was helping Daniel into the back seat if her car. "Can I come?" Emma asked. Kaleo looked at Emma and smiled, " Yes my dear you may come. Oh and I don't think I have told you my name. My name is Kaleo well lets get going." Kaleo said getting in her car. Emma nodded and also got into the car. Then Kaleo started the car up and started to make her way to the hospital.

When Daniel sat down, it felt as if all the strength that he had held onto for so long just vanished. He more or less crumpled into the seat, with an awfully weary look upon his face. Standards...standards are made to be high. Besides, it's a...amusing to see people deal with what they think of as an insult. Also keeps them from getting too cocky. Take...take for...how about a pretty broad like you? You probably get called pretty all the time? Well, I can't let it get all to your head, so...why are you fading? Weird, it's real...not light in here. Man, I feel even more...not sober than before...I think I'll just...I think...tell me when I get to beat up the doctor, Kal...Kale...Collie...nice name, Collie..." he trailed off, his eyes struggling to function. He began to feel tired, likely due to a combination of stress and blood loss. Slowly, he began drifting off to some semblance of sleep. In a car with beauty and the beast...you see, it's funny, because...cat..." he struggled to say while he tried to keep his eyes open, even though now he saw nothing but black.

kaleo eyes grew wide as Daniel grew weaker. " No.... Not today.. The reapers shall not have this one..."" Kaleo whispered and reached for a siren light and placed on the roof of her car and turned it on. As soon as the siren was sounding Kaleo hit gas and took speeding down the road. Ah the joys of being a detective. "AHHH!!!"" Emma screamed as the car roared off. It did not take long that Kaleo's reached the hospital. She came to a stop opened her door and ran to Daniel's door opening it and pulling Daniel out. She then looked at Emma, " Go get the doctors!" Kaleo ordered. Emma's eyes full of fear and worry looked at Daniel. It looked like he could die at any moment! She then dashed off as fast as she could into the hospital. "" Help help!! he's dieing he dieing!!"" Emma cried out tearfully when in the building. A few doctors and nurses that where there dashed out of the building to see Kaleo holding a badly hurt man. They then took Daniel from Kaleo and took him side.

Kaleo then ran inside and tood next to Emma who was crying. Kaleo then wached as the doctors placed Daniel on a gurnny and took him behind closed doors. though she had a feeling they would not be able to do much... Then a idea come to her what she could call a hero that had healing powers? Yes that could work! "Don't worry little one.. If they can't do anything I'm going to find someone who can." Kaleo said taking out her cell phone and started to make calls to find anyone with healing powers. Emma nodded but tears still flowed from her eyes. Daniel may have been a pain from how long she had met him but he was a good guy... Emma did not want him die.. She had no idea what she would do if he did...

[Izzy]

"There already, hu-oh, now I'm outside. Where were we-oh, to fight the doctor...fun." Daniel managed, all energy gone from his voice as he was moved. He hummed what seemed to be a random selection of notes that could hardly be called a song. It seemed to be so, mostly because it was. He continued this on until he was placed on the gurney. "Moving...moving...why was everybody in such a rush again? Oh yeah, the fight. They wanted to see how well I could beat down an egghead. Who were they? Man...drunk...doct...do...doc, where are you, I need to give you a beating for some friends...are they friends? Might not be...but why would I beat down a doctor if it wasn't for friends?" he ranted, his own thoughts fighting him. "Alright doc...just you and me...Don't think I'll go easy on you, just because you are unfortunate enough to be a doctor!" he tried to shout, but all that came out was a lethargic challenge.

The doctors ignored Daniel's threats and challenges. They then got ready to work on Daniel putting him on a table and hooking up to their machines. Then they placed a mask over Daniel's nose and mouth and turned on the gas that would make him go to sleep. After the gas put Daniel to sleep they started to work on cleaning,stopping the bleeding and closing his wounds.


Mean while Kaleo was calling all the numbers she could think of and getting numbers she could call as well. And after what seemed like forever she got the number she was looking for. " Hello, this is Vivian may I ask who is calling?" the girl on the other side answered. " Hello I'm detective Kaleo Kasser. I have a very badly injurd man at the hospital and I fear the doctors may not be able to save him. I was told you can heal others will you please come down and see what you can do?" Kaleo asked. " Yes ma'am I will be happy to help. I shall breing a few friends to help as well." And with that Vivian hung up and took off with Sadie and Summer and of course Ina
Kaleo smiled and put her phone away. "A healer is coming. Daniel will be just fine." Emma smiled and nodded, "Good. I hope they get here soon." Emma said and ran over to a window to look for the healers.

[Izzy]

"Beating up...gotta...sleepy...doc...gotta give...handicap." Daniel mumbled as he was put under, an easy feat, considering the fact that he was barely awake as it was. "Fights all the time...what a nice world..." he spoke in his sleep, an almost content look crossing his badly cut face.

Izzack felt it, just a twinge of something from far off. "Must be the hospital..." he decided. There was something strange about this one, though. The feeling he got when most people were about to die was a profound sadness. This one, however, was a mix of emotions he could not begin to decipher, though he knew for a fact there was little regret or sorrow in the jumble. "Maybe it means something else...maybe I'm going evil, like...the other...well, it is what it is...better go there." he sighed in worry as he made good use of one of his new found spells, a little thing he called a 'gatway', to transport himself swiftly to the location, or at least as near to it that he felt would be safe. A vertical line of light appeared in the air as he chanted, and slowly it seemed to turn, widening as it came to show a picture of the rooftop of the hospital. He couldn't use such a spell to teleport to a crowded street, well, not and be guaranteed to not harm or even kill any passersby. The edge of a gateway was sharp, dangerously sharp, it could cut a razor lengthwise, and Izzack shuddered to think of what it could do to human flesh. In any case, now on his perch atop the hospital, Izzack watched the surrounding area, searching for what beckoned him. With no sign of a disturbance outside, he made his way inside through the roof entrance, hoping that nobody saw him.
