Name: Katsumi Asami
Age: 24
Race: Human
Powers: Nothing but insanely high senses. XD And Sword skills.. with martial arts but that doesn't make her invincible. Her power is a lot like Kenshin Himura's off of Rurouni Kenshin, although I'm not sure what her sword style is. XD; She's just good at it.. As for weaknesses.. Basically everything that can kill a human. ._.
Date of birth: May 14, 1986
Home: Japan
Alliance: Good~
Relationship: Her parents are deceased- brothers and sisters scattered around the world as far as she knows-but she has come to look for someone.
Appearance:
Personality: Fun. Basically. (lol) She loves to do things, and hates standing still. Anything that has movement is fun to her, even crawling. Acrobatics and sword fighting/martial arts is what she enjoys most, she has dedicated herself to the feudal way of fighting instead of the common new way. She has trained herself ever since she was little, always beating up the bullies around her or around her friends. She loves to laugh and have a good time, not to mention getting drunk here and there. Eating is another favorite thing of hers, and when you ask her what her favorite food is, expect the reply 'anything that doesn't eat me first.' She trusts easily, but only based upon your first impression. If she likes it, welcome to her family! If she doesn't, prepare for attack. Well, if you threaten her. She does have a pretty ferocious anger, so be careful. She doesn't take abandonment well, nor betrayal. She forgives easily though. She's nice to everyone and polite for the most part. She doesn't care what others think about her, and she doesn't get serious unless it truly concerns it. She will also only fight for a good reason. She won't kill you, but may seriously injure or maim you. She hates stereotypes, and talks big, she's pride and will warmfully welcome criticism, insults or yells. She'll laugh it off, but doesn't mean she won't take it to heart. She is more sensitive than she lets on, and hates to rely on others and feels as if she will burden them if she tells them her own problems. She will make sure she is alone before becoming depressed or cry. Still, she is a lovable and friendly person to be around. She won't do anything to hurt others, no matter how badly they have harmed her. She loves to listen to others problems, hates cars, but oddly likes motorcycles, and most of all cheer people up and make them laugh with her. She loves to tease others but makes sure it's the right time and knows when enough is too much. She jokes around that she is conceited and arrogant of her looks but really she has very low self-esteem. Don;'t let it fool you, even if she does have a pretty good wall to mask her true feelings. As Stubborn and strong-willed she is, she likes to daydream, especially about someone she loved dearly a long time ago. She's very intelligent, but acts like a ditz. She will protect anybody she can with her life, and doesn't expect the same. She will do it because she wants to, not because she has to or because she wants recognition. As independent as she seems, she still has the little girl dream of finding her own prince. She has, but unluckily has to track him down. Still, when she has a goal, good luck on getting her off track of it, no matter what the offer you may have, she will never quit.
History: Katsumi was born in a long line of old Japanese samurais. She was unlike the rest of her sisters, for she acted like the true warrior her family would go on about. her brothers would get excited, and so would she, but sometimes she liked to stay inside and listen to the stories of her elder relatives that fought for all of Japan. Well okay for the side they believed in, sometimes all of Japan. She liked the much much older stories, of samurais and swordsmen, even ninjas. It made her ecstatic and pounce with energy. She would run outside and stick-sword fight with her elder brothers, beating them all of course. Her father would laugh and encourage the men, and her as well. He didn't favor depending on gender or strength. Her mother would smile and wish them all to b careful while she tended to her girly sisters, brushing their hair, dressing them up or playing with dolls. She was the one that liked to get down and dirty, sweaty with all the boys. She always showed this strong interest,m and it wasn't long before her father enrolled her into martial arts and swordsmanship, more as a birthday gift, getting her own shikai as another gift. She felt so grateful towards her father, but knew her mother didn't approve. She wanted to make her proud too, and made sure it wouldn't go to waste. She trained hard and soon became the stared pupil in the class, beating them all besides the master of course, or those older than her. She would be moved on to advanced classes, and even more. Of course she worked hard in school as well when she was older.
Pulling straight A's in school, hanging with friends and moving on into advanced classes in martial arts and sword-fighting, she was definitely a girl of many talents, for she also got herself into origami, taking an interest in that, as well as sports for school, mainly track and tennis, then also got herself into dancing. Anything that required activity she wanted to try. She got into acrobats as well, and made both her parents proud, sibling probably jealous, but she had a good relationship with them as well, always making time for them like she did everything else she took interest in. She'd train her brothers in what she would learn, or swallow her pride and do what her sisters would want to do, which was dress up or even help them with the dancing she had learned. She would tutor who she could and enjoyed family time, hating it when they fought and often settled it for them. She was definitely a bright and happy girl. Her mother still wasn't too pleased with the fighting she was learning, but she knew her daughter enjoyed it so let it pass on. Little did any of them knew that her own skills would come in handy at some point.
After returning home late from her lessons in swordsmanship, shikai on her back, she witnessed an attack. Her brothers held them off, mother lying on the floor, sisters calling police and huddling in the corner, father having mother in his arms. Rage grew inside and she quickly drew her own weapon and attacked, winning of course, but not unscathed. She had a few scrapes and a bullet hole in her shoulder, but chased him off, who was later caught by the police. The injured ones went to the hospital, her mother's death announced on spot. A few of her siblings later died of injury infection. The rest and herself got healed, but their emotional wounds lasted longer. She didn't stop her fighting, but only worked harder. Her grades fell a bit, but she worked to keep them up. She quit her dancing, and was no longer in the interest of origami. She secretly became an early drinker, but no one knew about that. She kept it hidden, and didn't drink more than she could handle, if she did, she wouldn't go home. She got in more fights at school, always winning, but always getting in the most trouble, but she made it up to them. Her father was the one healing the slowest out of all. She may have been the only one that appeared healed. Her sisters and other brothers thought of her as cold and heartless, but she did her best to pay it no mind. When she came home late and knew she was alone, she would cry. Her father was the only one that knew, and would always hold her close and cry with her.
Years passed on slowly, and gradually they patched up from their deep scars. She was older now, at the age of fourteen. She was even stronger now, a black belt in martial arts and a master at the shikai, she was moved on to other weapons, such as a real katana, but a sakabato, so as not to hurt others. Gradually she got her own real sword, the one she uses now, but for that she would use the sakabato. She got golds in all of her tournaments, rarely getting silver, even more rarely getting a bronze, but she had a few and was just as proud of them as the gold. It still meant she worked hard for her prize, but did it for a hobby and to save those around her, friends, family or strangers. Her father then got sick, and despite all the jobs her brothers would work along with her sisters, it wasn't enough. He died of an illness the doctors have yet to name. Katsumi was probably the one hurt the worst out of all, but she acted it off as she did with her mother and siblings. Only her siblings knew better this time, and they got her to spill her feelings out at least once. It brought them together.
Her elder siblings took care of her and the others until they were old enough to move out, and she did, but never quit her studies, even if she had already graduated from her swords class and martial arts class. She was eighteen when she moved into an old-fashioned house in the woods of an isolated spot in Japan. She lived there peacefully and always kept up with her studies and practices, taking up dancing and a job now. At a Dojo of course. It wasn't long before she had met him. The one she ended up adoring the most. His name was Kenshin Mizu. She welcomed him happily into her own home, and as time passed, they gradually got closer on their own, and even later became lovers. Yet one day when she came home, the one she had admired above most was gone. She flipped! She thought the police had gotten him, since she was the only normal person besides maybe his master that knew about his killing. She worried for days and days and had gotten herself sick before she learned he had moved back to America to his baby sister. Rage grew inside, but so did willpower and understanding. She set her sights on America. So, booking her own flight, her little journey began. She looked everywhere, trust her she has been all over the U.S. Finally she got a few leads that lead her to Jump City, and hopefully it will lead her to Him. Don't worry it took her years to find out the information. Still she has made her own life as well, learning English and learning their ways and customs, obviously not the fashion but she didn't care. She kept up the fights and drinking, rather liking it very much. Now at the age of 24, she is still looking for him, but hoping she has becoming closer to him by day, and she's even more skilled with her talents than she was the last time he had seen her. Her hear aches at the thought, but her fury still burns and she refuses to give up until she finds him, no matter if he truly wanted to leave her or not. Even if he had a wife now she would make sure she'd give him a piece of her mind about him leaving without a single word.
Anything else: Her fashion is odd..
Code Word: Titans forever of course!
