Name: Sean MacGowan
Age: 26
Race: Irish
Powers:
Charismatic: With his peculiar accent, and even odder mannerisms, Sean often is able to gain the trust of a stranger through communication
Equipment: Though not necessarily a power, Sean carries a plethora of different items with him. These items range from a small set of radios, to a shotgun tazer. These items, acquired by a leader turned arch nemesis, allow Sean to both defend himself and aid him in his interactions with strangers.
Limits:
Criminal History: Not only has Sean worked for a sinister man, but he also has been arrested on many charges during his time as a drunk on the streets of Jump. This history can cause difficulty when he attempts to interact with a stranger that knows such things.
Small budget: Though he might be in possession of more expensive equipment, Sean has very little other that what he took with him after he betrayed his old leader. As such, he often finds himself without the one item that would turn the tides for him.
Date of birth: October 30th, 1985
Home: Jump City
Alliance: None, he is focused on disrupting the activities of Johnathan O'Connor, but other than that, he tries to keep from picking sides.
Relationship: None
Appearance: Sean is the stereotypical Irish male. Fiery red hair, freckled face, and defiant, toothy smile. He stands at about 5'8, with a barrel chest, and long, sturdy legs. He is most often found wearing casual, but tighter fitting clothes in orange and green. With him, he carries a heavy backpack, in which he carries all of his equipment.
Personality: Sean is a calm man, who always keeps an amused expression on his face. He would like to think of himself as a good man, and to a point, he is correct. He always tries to see the best in people, and he notes the good characteristics of a person he hates before the bad. he is quick to do something reckless, especially if it is to spite the one he hates or to help out someone that he has grown fond of.
History:
Sean was born in a small town in Ireland. He was the middle child of a large family, and as such, he grew up without too much parental attention. When he was still young, his family moved to Jump city. The sudden change of pace from the peaceful country to the booming metropolis both frightened and amazed the young boy. The lad grew up naive to the horrors of the world until the fateful day when his older brother was murdered on his way home.
After the tragedy, Sean became withdrawn, and bitter. He grew up to be an alcoholic, drowning his sorrows in cheap booze and spending most of his nights in the drunk tank, and, occasionally, in a cell, awaiting trial.
That changed on the fateful day that Sean met one Johnathan O'Connor. Unaware of the psychiatrist's true intentions, the young Irishman jumped at the sociopath's offer of a better life. The doctor, true to his word, cured Sean of his alcoholism. Feeling like he owed a debt to the seemingly benevolent man, Sean promised loyalty to his savior.
As Sean met the other subjects of 'the good doctor', and seeing how odd they were emotionally, the young man began to doubt his leader's benevolence. The final straw was when he was told to restrain and bring in a young boy by the name of Taylor. He remained loyal to his boss, and carried out the order, using a friend of the young man, one Izzack O'Connor, to force Taylor to submit. When he brought the two to one of the many headquarters of Johnathan, he decided that he needed to change his ways.
He started with subtly working against his leader, helping young Taylor and Izzack escape. Eventually though, he was unable to maintain his cover, and he finally showed his true colors when he stunned Christopher, one of John's subjects, with his tazer in an attempt to aid one of the doctor's potential subject's escape. After this, Sean knew that there was no turning back, so he grabbed as much as he could from the doctor's supplies, and made a vow that he would work against the sociopath at every turn that he could.
Anything else: I would nae say tha' there be too much. Not unless talkin' like this is o' any importance, eh?
Code Word: Somethin' about Titans, and long periods of time.
