Personality:
Is very kind and loving. Some say he has a pure heart. He enjoys spending time with his little sister Sarah, and will do anything to help her. He also helps others in need, if someone was being mugged Kurtis would draw his revers blade sword. He does not like unnecessary fighting and tries to talk things out. But will fight if they wont listen and tries not to hurt them to badly if they are normal people.

When it comes to meeting new people Kurtis is very friendly and treats you like you are already his friend. He would sit down and talk to you, and would talk for hours until he or the person he was talking to had to go. One of his pet peeves is if a guy is mistreating a girl. Kurtis will get angry and stand up for the girl and try to get her away from the man. then for the rest of the day if he could he would try to help the girl out and even help her feel better.

Weapon:
reverse blade sword sakabatô. A sword that was made NOT to kill people but protcte them.



History:
When he was young and Sarah was just a baby, Kurtis lived in a happy home loved by both his Mother and Father and by everyone around him. He went to school like other kids, went to the park with friends among other things. Kurtis's parents where impotent people which meant some dangers to the family do his Parents let him learn how to use the sword for he has always liked him. With the skills he was learning Kurtis knew he could protect his family. But... That would prove not to be enough For one day when he got back from sword training he came up to the door and before even opening it his Chi ability activated and he could till there was something wrong....

Kurtis opened the door fear in his eyes and he saw the house was a mess like someone had broken in... Griping his sword he slowly entered the house and could laughing in the living room. With out making a sound he made is way over to the living room... And what he saw terrified him... His.... His parents where dead and now whoever these men where, where going to kill his little sister Sarah!


Kurtis was not about to let them hurt his sister so he drew his sword and attacked. He surprised them and after a few minutes of fighting all the men ran injured but alive.... breathing hard Kurtis glared with a murderess look in his eyes as the men ran. After a few more minutes he picked up his crying baby sister and looked at her innocent face then he looked at his dead parents he made a vow to himself that day he would kill the ones who did this to his family... His anger getting the better of him. After that he got help with his sister till he got old enough to take care of her himself...


A few years later with almost none stop training, Kurtis found the men who killed his parents.... And killed them.... After that he went on a small killing spree and was nicknamed the man slayer but he hid his hair and wore a mask so no one ever knew it was him.... But then fondly his sword master came and found him and challenged him to a fight. For hours they thought till Kurtis's master was able to bring back the real Kurtis and stop his killing spree. Ashamed of what he had done Kurtis was going to give the sword and even kill him self. But again the his master stopped him and told him he could make up for what he did by helping others.. And he could start by going back to his sister.

Kurtis did just that. He want back home and after a few more years moved to jump city to get away from his past and help his sister have the best life she could have. But with a lasting guilt for what he has done. And in the fight with his master he got cute twice on the same cheek and those turned into scars. So now whenever lookes into a mirror he remembers all of the evil things he has done. But is now working on repanting by saving everyone he can with his sword and made a vow to never kill ever again.


Anything else: Has a past of killing people and when someone gets him really angry he will go into whats called the Man Slayer state. Its very hard to get him out of that state. The only ones who can out of that state are his loved ones.

The Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu

• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Do Ryu San(Ground Dragon Flash) = Giant blow against the ground, causing massive airwaves/rocks to strike enemies.
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Tsui Sen(Dragon Mallot Flash) = Jumps up in the air really high and then strikes down hard from above.
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Kan Sen(Dragon Wind Up Flash) = Lunges toward enemy using a very powerful twist of the body doing a sideways slash.
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Sou Sen(Double Dragon Flash) = Multiple Slashes against enemy.
  
  

• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Kan Sen Tsumuji(Dragon Wind Up Flash Hair Spin)= Tsumuji(gyrate) involves higher speed than Ryu Kan Sen. Basically same attack but more powerful.
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Sho Sen(Dragon Rising Flash) = Rises up from ground, using all force in an uppercut, hitting vital points.
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Tsui San Zan = Same as Ryu Tsui Sen except sword is pointed down to pierce.
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Hi-Ryu Sen(Flying Dragon Slash) = Performed by left hand only, attack uses centrifugal force to create a powerful blow with the hilt in a persons weakness, like in between the eyes.
  
  

• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Sou Ryu Sen(Paired Dragon Flash) = Paired attack with sword and sheath. If sword is blocked, sheath comes in and hits enemy.
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Kan Sen Arashi(Dragon Wind Up Flash Storm) = More powerful version of Tsumuji + more damaging.
  Zantetsu = Iron cutting technique. Can use it anywhere excempt underwater.
  
  
• Shihara Dori = Defensive technique in which user grabs enemies sword.
  

• Ryu Mei San = User quickly sheathes sword, causing a sound that distorts the hearing of those with enhanced senses.
  
  
• Modoshi Giri = User can cut something in half and then rejoin it together and make it seem as if there was no cut whatsoever.

• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Lightning Umbrella = Opens up an umbrella and spins it quickly to deflect kunai.
  
  

• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Big Ball Smash = Whacks a giant red rubber ball with the umbrella and knocks it into an opponent.
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Dodge the Big Boar = Dodges charging opponent and swipes him on the back with the umbrella.
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Umbrella Smash = Imitates Ryu Tsui Sen with the umbrella
  The Two Combo moves he uses. He uses these in his fught against Shi-Shi-O in combination, not seperately, making this combo of moves his attack that has the most moves in sequence.
  
  

• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ryu Tsui Sho Sen(Dragon Mallot Rising Flash) = Combo of Ryu Tsui Sen and Ryu Shou Sen. Perfromed when opponent is coming down from above, Ryu Tsui Sen first, then Ryu Shou Sen, causing double damage.
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Kogarashi Tsumuji Arashi (no translation) = First he starts off turning around and doing one hit, then jumps and hits again, then uses the turning momentum to go into a spin and slicing again. Spin goes vertically, not horizontally.
  Now for the two most powerful techniques that Kenshin learns from his master Hiko Seijuuro in the series.
  
  
  
• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ku Zu Ryu Sen(Nine Headed Dragon Flash) = Attack learned before the most powerful succesion technique. Strikes with the sword nine times on the 9 vital points, head, right leg, left leg, right arm, left arm, between the legs, the chest, right shoulder, and left shoulder, making this move virtually impossible to block.
  
  

• Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Ouki Ama Kakeru Ryu No Hirameki(Heaven's Soaring Dragon Flash) = THE SUCCESION TECHNIQUE. Normally when using the Batto Jutsu, the right leg is placed in front of the left leg so as not to cut your leg off when drawing your sword from the left, but with this you put your left leg in front giving your attack the most power it can get, and must twist your body at the right time so as not to cut your leg off. In order to do this he must have a strong will to live. This move is actually a combo of two, because if this move is executed properly, if the first hit is blocked, then the person spins around, and slices again. It works because apparently after the first strike, the sword somehow makes a kindof vortex, sucking in the enemy, allowing the person to be close enough to be sliced again, kind of like a vacuum.
