Siluku laughed at Izzy's stuttering. It was just do cute. so he really was not used to complements he got so flustered easily it seemed. It was a sign if a good heart though witch made Siku like Izzy. Though she was not going to say that out loud. as they walked Siku made sure to take mental notes so she could remember where to find this place later. And soon they came to the library, Siku followed Izzy inside listening as he talked about a strange thing called a library card. And how it was used to take books out of the building. Well seeing as she had no home in this strange land she did not have much use for a library card. " Well.. I don't have much use for one as I don't have a home in this land.. I did not come here on my own free will.." Siku said with a sigh at the memory as she then started to look around. " I can just read the books within the library when I come to visit." She said as she then went to the child section and pulled out a book. She opened it and frowned. She did not understand these strange letters. Though with easy child books and some study she would learn them in no time as she learned how to at least talk in this strange language just by listening to the people of this land.

The dog's words echoed in Izzack's head as he searched through the books. No, not how she was talking about how she could just read here, the other one. As a man who spent a long time on the streets, he knew the struggles of a life without a home. "Well, she doesn't seem too worried about it, but...well, what if she's...and of course I need to think about...damn it!" he thought, scowl forming on his head as he thought about what the right thing to do in this situation was.
It took him some time, but eventually he walked over to Siku, seeming rather...apprehensive. "So, Siku. I heard you right when you said that you had no home, right? Well, I don't think it's the best idea for you to be sleeping on the streets, so...well...What I mean to say is...If you wished it, I would allow you to stay at the place that I have made mine. I understand if you do not wish to, but this city isn't very safe anymore, even for a dog. S-so...what do you th-think?" he said, almost managing to keep him composure until the end.

Siku happily looked at the children books, though found herself looking more at the pictures more then the words. the art work was so different then it was back home! But it was just as good and pretty. Or so in Siku's mind anyway. She then started to match the words with what was happening on the pictures stating to learn what words where what and what they meant. Though soon she was brought out of her study's when Izzy come over. She smiled up at him as he spoke and then started to blink. He was offering to let her stay at his house? Aww that's so sweet!! Siku smiled even more, it would be nice to have a place to call home in this strange new land. "Well if its no trouble and you don't mind. I would hate to be a bother to you." Siku said.

"Ah, that's okay, I under-wait, wha-I mean...okay, so..." Izzack trailed off. He certainly hadn't expected that reaction. Well, he had sorta wanted it, in a way, kind of, but he hadn't expected it. "What I mean to say is that it is no trouble at all. I am not often in the place, anyway, so it is suffering somewhat from disuse anyway. I can show it to you when we finish here, if that suits you. If not, I'm sure we can figure something out..." he continued, scratching the back of his head. Well, the cats would be surprised about this, surely. Nothing could really be done about that, though. They would just have to accept it.

Siku listened as Izzy spoke of the house and it sounded like it was run down and not kept up very well.. Huh that was no issue if she could fix it with her magic~ Siku then closed her book placing it on the table next to her. " It sounds good~ And maybe with a little magic it can be made better. Please take me to it I wanna see it." Siku said as she wagged her tail with a smile on her face. And without waiting for a answer Siku headed for the door standing on the side walk waiting for Izzy to come on out so she could follow him to his house. Again it was great to meet nice people in this land.. She knew it was good start in learning her way around this new land. And hopefully soon she would know why fate brought her here..

"...Perhaps magic would make things a little better...can't say I've tried...I wonder why I never did that?" Izzack trailed off. True, he didn't really think about magic that way, but surely he should have at least had the idea. Well, it was true that he didn't go there too much, except to sleep for a few hours, but still...
Lost in thought, he didn't notice Siku leaving until she was out the door. "W-wait for me!" he called out, forgetting he was in a library for a brief moment as he ran for the door. "Okay, so...uh...my house is...this way!" he said as soon as he was outside. With that, he headed north of the library, to a rather run-down neighborhood.
Izzack seemed unaware of any possible danger as he strolled through what looked to be a rough, violent part of the city. To be fair, though, this was his home territory, and if one couldn't feel safe in their own neighborhood, well, what sort of hero could they hope to be?
Suddenly, he turned down an alleyway, then approached an old, rusted fence. "Here we are, I know it isn't much, but it has served me for some time now, and it hasn't collapsed yet." he said, pointing to the building beyond the fence. To call it dilapidated would have been much too generous. As it was, calling it condemned might have been too generous. All the windows were busted, and the back door hung off of one of its hinges. Most of the wood was in pretty bad shape, and there wasn't a lick of paint on it, but Izzack didn't seem to mind. In fact, he looked at the shack with what could be considered pride, but only a mad man with no sense of shame could be prideful of that junkheap.

Siku happily followed after Izzy, skipping along behind him. So far he was one of the nice people she had met after being taken to this strange land. Friends where a good thing indeed. And even though they got off on the wrong paw Siku knew the reaper was just being careful. As demons did take many shape and forms. Siku took note of everything as they made their way to his house. the places they went did seem very friendly at all. Though Siku was not worried. And soon they came to the run down house. Siku blinked and tilted her head as she looked at it. Indeed this house was in disrepair. But it was nothing a little magic could not fix.
The young wolf then walked up the house and pulled out what looked like a old style paint brush. She then closed her eyed and started to move her hand in a circular motion. As she did this the broken window's and door's and the roof started to repair themselves. And soon everything was fixed. The doors, the windows and the roof anyway. The paint still looked old and withered. Siku then opened her eyes and put her brush away and looked over at Izzy with a smile. " Well I can't fully repair the house but it will be less drafty." Siku said as she then entered the house, the inside was still the same though. Siku looked around and smiled, " I like it!" She said a she looked back at Izzy.

Izzack watched impassively as the dog did...magic to his home. Sure, it was nice, having a home that wasn't quite as broken as it had once been, but, well, he supposed he had been spending too much time away from it. If it weren't for the cats, he'd never come back, a thought that made him feel somewhat melancholy.. This house and the neighborhood around it used to be his whole world, but it could no longer contain him. That in mind, though, it was nice that someone could use it.
"Impressive work, I must say. I can't say I've ever seen such an interesting ability." he commented as he entered behind the little dog. "I'm glad you like it. It's a bit small, but that makes it easy to get around, I feel. Now, there isn't really any running water...or electricity...or anything of the sort around here. If I drew attention to myself by trying to pay for such things, chances are they would condemn this place, and I'd be out of a home. As it is, if you need to water for anything, the woman in the red house next door will gladly help. She'll probably let you cook something over there, too, if you ask. She's a rather sweet woman." he advised before he began walking through the house.
"Over here is the kitchen. Like I said, no water or heat or anything, but there's a set of knives, and the cutting board is solid, so you can use the room for that, or whatever. Over here is the bedroom. Feel free to sleep in the bed or not. I haven't slept much it since this little one came over and magiced it up...That's a strange trend. Why do little girls keep fixing my house? Uh...anyway, I haven't slept on it because, well, for some time, it was the only nice thing in here, and I didn't want to change that. It sounds stupid...it is stupid, but hey, what can you do, right? But yeah, sleep there all you want, but you might have to jockey for position with the cats." As Izzack neared his last spot of his little 'tour', he seemed to lose his mirth. This door, like the others, didn't seem to quite fit the frame. Where this one differed, however, was that it was the only thing in the house with any paint on it, a stark black.
"This is the door to my basement. If you feel the need, I suppose you can go down there, or put things down there, or whatever, but be wary. There is a pedestal in the center of the basement, and on the pedestal is a book. Nothing will happen if you touch the pedestal, but if you touch the book...Suffice to say, a reaper's full ward is nothing to play with. According to the books, a tiny part of my soul is in that ward, giving it strength. So, whatever you do, don't mess with the book, or something bad will happen, I'm pretty sure." he warned. Sudden;y, he seemed to cheer up again. "So...any questions?" he asked.

Siku beamed happily when Izzy said she had done a good job. It was the least she could do seeing he was taking her in and letting her stay at his house. Then giggled a little as she followed him inside when he said something about little girls fixing his house. Ah so another magic user helped him? Hmm Siku would have to ask about her later. She then listened as Izzy gave the tour of his house and spoke about the basement. So a dangerous book was down there? Ok so she would not go down there at all. Unless she wanted to store something down there. When Izzy was finished Siku looked up at him with a smile, " No~ No questions! Thank you so much Izzy-Chan! I promise to leave the book alone and only to go down into the basement when needed! And I will take care of your house!" Siku said as she then bowed to Izzy as a sign of respect.

"Izzy...chan? I'm...That's not really my last na...you don't have to bow...I mean...err..." Izzack mumbled, fidgeting slightly at the unexpected display of respect. "Thanks for looking out for the place...and for taking my warning seriously. Not that people don't normally, well, I don't tell people about the book, really...I meant warnings in a broad...nevermind." he continued, trying his hardest to salvage the situation.
In an attempt to break out of the vicious cycle of fidgeting and mumbling, Izzack turned away from the dog girl with something almost like a look of determination. "It's uh...It's time to feed the cats. If you'll excuse me." he offered before walking quickly out the back door and back into the yard.
Once out back, he opened what appeared to be a handmade, and poorly handmade at that, cabinet. Inside were bowls and a large bag of dried food. A look of contentment slowly grew on his face as he carefully filled each bowl and waited for the cats to come.
