This place, known for its continuous liveliness and vibrant colors, is a favorite among those who live in this city. The park is known for its always loud and playful children who play amongst themselves and those who are too big to play on the playground that instead occupy the open field space to play sports or enjoy nature. There are always people occupying every square area of the park at one point of the day. The only time that life begins to die down is when the sun dips below the horizon and people begin to retreat back to their toasty homes to escape the bite from the chilled air.
It's this time of the day, however, that Ayano finds the most enjoyable. She rather enjoys the chilled breeze the brushes lightly across her skin in a soothing manner and the darkness that camouflages her in its depths. Most importantly, the lack of people is what is the nicest. It's not that she really has anything against people...well, most of the time...but she enjoys her solitude and the night. It's during this time that she carry out more of her jobs efficiently and be hidden away from curious eyes that would pry into her business.
This night, though, is a night where she doesn't have any jobs or missions. Just free time to kill and enjoy. Which is exactly the reason why she wandered off toward the park. She saunters into the field, glancing around casually at her surroundings. The only sound that swirls in her ears is the light wind that ruffles the leaves of the trees, giving off a shimmery sound almost mimicking water. On nights that she has nothing to do, Ayano often finds herself just wandering and going on walks to different places. There's times where she will travel down daring alleyways that people typically cringe at when walking by, at times she goes outside of the city, sometimes the park or other places she wants to go almost subconsciously. Her feet just take her places, but she doesn't really mind it.
Ayano gradually slows to a halt, rolling her head up to gaze up at the sky. Stars sprinkle across the blackened sky, sparkling pridefully like diamonds. However, despite their beauty, they still only serve the purpose of highlighting the moon, magnifying it's majesty. She stares up into it, admiring the sight that fits so well with the atmosphere around her. Eventually, she begins to fall deeper into her thoughts while gazing up at it, growing less and less aware of her surroundings.

Johnathan sat on a park bench, seeming...out of place. He didn't normally come to places like this so late, but...well, with so many things happening as once, he needed a little time to relax, and plan his next steps. To work towards those ends, he sat with his briefcase on his lap, open, and full of his vital documents. "Remember to type this all accurately, Julia, it is important that we have an exact record of these threats." he said over a simple radio. On the other end, a woman that seemed to be in her mid twenties sat at a computer, taking in all the information given to her. She worked faithfully, and accurately, two things Johnathan valued greatly in those he took into his...'family'.
And so he sat for some time, making plans, transferring data, and doing his best to unwind, if only somewhat. Then he saw her. His mind went quickly through a series of threats. Was this person spying on him? Not likely. Was this person a threat? It did not appear so. Did this person seem mentally unbalanced in some way? Perhaps, not visibly, but she was out rather late, and that could mean something. Was this person worth further investigation? Likely, though it was unwise to approach immediately. He decided to watch the woman for a time, and he ceased his work completely in an effort to do so.

The world around Ayano fades out of existence more and more, locking her in her own little world. This happens a lot. In places where she's alone and the only thing sharing the air with her is nature, she feels relaxed enough to finally retreat from reality for a little while. Of course, it doesn't always last forever with the ever present distractions around her that keep her from fully losing herself. Though, even a little time is alright. However, tonight just doesn't feel like one those nights for her. Something throws her on edge and steadily grows in her the longer she stands there.
She narrows her eyes a bit, questioning what it is that's making her feel uneasy. The wind suddenly blows more sharply, slamming against her and knocking her away from her thoughts. That's when another presence introduces itself to her, instantly throwing her guard up. Something's there...!
Ayano snaps her eyes over toward the direction that's filled with another thing that's there other than her. The shape of a man fills her eyes, parts of him only lighted by the dull light shining down from the nearest light pole. She stares him down, watching for any movements the man may make. How did I not sense him...??

"So she has noticed me. She views me as a threat, as well. That raises a few concerns about whether or not she'll act aggressively, but..." Johnathan thought as he shrugged and stood up slowly, hands up to show he was unarmed, perhaps in an effort to relax the woman. "Hello, there. A pleasant night for a stroll through the park, wouldn't you aggree? So, what brings you here this night?" he called out, putting on all of the considerable charm that he had.
Inside, though, his mind raced. It wasn't that he was worried. No, nothing silly like that. His mind raced with possibilities. What could this encounter create? Was this a girl who he could take under his wing? Unlikely, but surely there would be some use to come out of her, and if it just so happened that he could get her trust...well, it wouldn't be a bad thing to have another member of the family, now would it?

Ayano stares the man down intently, watching every minute move that he makes. With anybody that suddenly catches her attention alone and at night, she instantly raises her guard. However, she could something different about this man. There was something more to him than what reached the surface, but she'd have to get closer in order to really assess that. Either way, her eyes never left him.
She notices the man begin to move, standing up then placing his hands up in the air. Not really sure what to think of it at first, she just narrows her eyes more, tensing every muscle in her body needed for a sudden attack if necessary. It's not until she hears the other speak that she allows for a little bit more relaxation.
"Hello, there. A pleasant night for a stroll through the park, wouldn't you aggree? So, what brings you here this night?"
Silence remains between them for a few moments as she refuses to open her mouth. What are this guy's plans? He could just be another person passing by at a strange time of night. Although, there's also the chance that he's interested in asking for something of me. There really isn't much reason for her to believe that this guy would know anything about her or what she does, but it's become quite a habit to expect that out of anyone who takes an interest in her. No matter what, she won't know anything until she converses with the man when he approaches. Other than that, she figures she might as well answer his question.
"My feet."

"I suppose that that is what brings everyone everywhere." John shrugged nonchalantly. Inside, though, he was groaning. "Great, another jokester." he thought, "Perhaps she is using her sarcastic nature to hide something from me. something other than her untrust, that is."
Without another word, he progressed closer, hands still upraised. Another might be worried that the girl would attack, but Johnathan didn't have time for such worries. "I wasn't asking about how your body functions, however, I desire to know what's in your mind. Why did you come out here so late, ma'am?" he asked, then he paused, looking almost disappointed in himself for a short time. "Why, I'm sorry, I haven't even introduced myself yet. The name is Johnathan O'Connor, psychiatrist. Might I ask your name, miss?" he said with a slight bow.

The words of the other reaches her ear, not having any affect on her at all. She was just answering bluntly and honestly. That's all she really needed to say anyway. Ayano watches the man approach her more, hands still upraised. Not budging one inch, yet not making any attempts to get aggressive, she just silently observes him and questions his motives in her mind.
"I wasn't asking about how your body functions, however, I desire to know what's in your mind. Why did you come out here so late, ma'am?"
"I wandered off and let my feet take over. That's all," she answers shortly, noticing him stop with his expression changing a bit.
"Why, I'm sorry, I haven't even introduced myself yet. The name is Johnathan O'Connor, psychiatrist. Might I ask your name, miss?"
Ayano narrows her eyes more again, staying silent until he pulls himself back up from his bow.
"That depends on what you're wanting from me," she replies, understanding that if he has no idea what she's talking about, then he most likely isn't talking to her to complete a job.

"What I want of you is simple. First, a name, second, information. I am a man who feels a certain...desire to know about those around me, and their impact on the world. It's rather important to know who might be an enemy, and who an ally, no? That is why I ask what I ask. So tell me, who are you?" Johnathan asked, seeming to calm down, a ghost of a smile on his lips. As he spoke, he did his best to mentally assess the causes behind the woman's...social ineptitude. Paranoia was a likely candidate for her inability to let her guard down, and the...manner of her responses were likely caused by the lack of strong parental guidance during important formative years. The lack of a father brought in the absence of tact, while a missing mother had done away with simple kindness. Perhaps this was a street reat? Likely, though Johnathan couldn't help but assume that this was something more. Definitely something worth looking more into he thought as he turned his attention back onto the girl.

Hearing this, Ayano calms her expression a bit and allows it to soften, but not fully losing her bite. Still, this person was just another guy that happened to have a different agenda than most people. She comes to a consensus that this agenda isn't in need of her services.
"Ayano Chinatsu," she begins, hoping that this guy doesn't use her name against her later in magical practices now that he has the power to. "Depending on what you ask, I can give you information. I ask, though, why is it that I have suddenly caught your attention?" Staring him down and waiting for him to talk, she wonders how in the world this guy has managed to get her to talk as much as she is. Hardly ever does she talk more than she needs to unless it's required for a situation or mission, along with the occasional rants about morality and such. Otherwise, not a word is every muttered from her. Strange man...

"Ah, your appearance caught my attention, and your attitude perked my interest. As I said before, I am a psychiatrist. I deal with people's minds. I find a person with issues, mental or emotional, and I fix them, for a price. That's why you interest me, for even if you do not desire your problems fixed, which, I assume, you'll say that you have none, and that the world is the one with the problem, or that your problem is surviving in this cruel world, or something of the like; regardless, you may not want them fixed, but I can still use this conversation to better deal with similar people in the future. Very useful, I'd say." Johnathan explained, seeming rather relaxed, despite the woman's...aggressive nature mere moments ago. Perhaps it was the subject. It was his forte after all, and if he wasn't comfortable talking about it, he wouldn't be that great of a psychiatrist, now would he?
