Project 5 had been wondering the city for some time now, getting to know the outside world. She had met some friendly people and some not so friendly. And now she had come up to a place she has not been to yet. As she walked up to the pizza place she took note how many people where there and the smells and sounds. It seemed like a cheerful place with families and friends just hanging out. And like everywhere else people using that green paper to buy things. Jade had some of that green paper thanks to some of the friends she had made. So she got in line and waited, she watched the people that where ahead of her so she would know what to do. And soon it came to be her turn. " Cheese pizza please." Project five asked, she had no idea what a pizza was so she was about to find out. Tag: Izzy |

It was just another day for Daniel. Another day of shoving wads of dough into ovens, and pulling out flat, delicious circles. A bit boring, perhaps, but hey, it's a living, right? Besides, he didn't have long before his shift was done, then the real fun could begin. As he was slaving away in front of a hot oven, he listened to the cashier, and not only for orders. No, he loved listening to the interactions between customers and employees. There was a certain charm to it, especially when the customer was getting whiny. As he listened, though, something horrible crossed his ears. Something unforgivable, something that threatened to shatter his soul at the mere thought of the sheer madness of the mind that conceived such a heinous sentence. "A cheese pizza!?" he gasped in shock, speeding to the cashier's side. "That's it? Nothing else? Not even some peppers? Olives? No, no, don't ring her up yet, Rick. Why do you hate pizza, lady?" he asked. He was determined-no, that was too light a word for what he was feeling. Compared to him, a particularly lazy cat was 'determined' to shed a few pounds. He swore that he would get to the bottom of this, if it was the last thing he ever did.

Project 5 stared at the man who suddenly become annoyed over her order, she read his mind slightly to see why. Though his thoughts where illogical to her. It should not matter what she had ordered he was not the one to be eating it after all."You're concern is illogical. " She stated in a Monotone voice." How can I hate something when I have never had it? She asked staring at Daniel again in a Monotone voice, showing no emotion as she spoke. She then thought about things a little more as she stood there. But stayed silent and waited to see what this boy would say next. Though Project 5 did start to notice people around them starting to stare. Though that was not her problem so said nothing for the time being.

"You...you never...never...OKAY THAT'S IT! I'm treating the hell out of you right here, right now! You, my fine friend, are going to get the most magnificent pizza that this world has ever seen, a pizza so loaded with...I don't know, just about everything under the sun. And you, Rick, are going to charge the regular cheese price. No, no, don't argue. It'll come out of my pay, or whatever. This is important. You, lady, you wait right there!" Daniel said, excited as he slid back to his station, and began working on his monstrosity. "Never had a pizza before, and she wants cheese only? What's wrong with that girl? Oh, hey, a fried egg would be a beautiful topper to this. Perhaps a little..." he said to himself as he worked. He started by writing a list of things to put on the pizza, a massive list that, even after he scratched out most of it, held a plethora of different toppings. Then, he slammed all of that onto a crust, then popped it into an oven. He slowly sauntered back to the counter, only to immediately run back as the food finished. "Well, here's your food, don't ever let me catch you going plain again, you hear?" he said, wagging his finger as he set the pizza on the countertop.

Project 5 stood there as the man's shock seemed to grow when she said she never had pizza before. And then declared he was going to not only make it the best pizza in the world he was going to pay for it as well. Though she noted how the one called Rick was not to pleased with this but did not try to fight back. So Project 5 stood there as Daniel made the pizza and watched as it cooked. and soon it was done and he placed it on the counter. Project 5 looked at the pizza giving a few slow plinks. Though did not show rather she liked it or not. She was tempted to say no but Project 5 rather not cause trouble for others who wished to also order. " It is not what I ordered but I will take it. Thank you for your time." she said once again in a Monotone voice as she picked up the pizza and walked over to a table. She then sat down placing the pizza on the table and stared at it for a minute or two before taking a slice of the pizza and took a bite. Though she showed no reaction if she liked it or not.

"And now, my dear Rick," Daniel began, patting the cashier a few times on his shoulders, "now it is Daniel's break time! Again, you're objecting. Stop that, this is what it is! The other guys will cover. Of course you're the other guys! See you in fifteen!" he smirked as he hopped over the counter, and plopped himself down in the seat opposite Project 5. "So, Broody, Brood Queen, Broodolezza rice, okay that one wasn't as good. anyway, what's with you? How could you never have had pizza before?" he asked, staring at his creation with a rather smug look on his face.

Project 5 could hear Daniel's thoughts as well as Ricks, so it seemed this Daniel wanted to talk some more. When he did she did not looked shocked and just looked at him as she ate her pizza. So he wanted to know why she never had pizza. Well Project 5 did not care to tell where she came from. Though he was not the first to ask but would be believe her unlike the others? She would soon see. " I was born and raised in a secret lab... They called me Project 5.. I destroyed it and escaped. I have been on the outside only for a short time. Some friends I have made now call me Jade. As they say its the color of my eyes." Project 5 said in a Monotone voice as she finished her first slice of pizza and started to eat a seconded slice.

"So, secret lab, goes bang, you zip, zop, and zap your way outta there, and now you're eating pizza, eh? Sounds like an exciting day!" Daniel said. Though his natural enthusiasm masked whether or not he actually believed the girl, inside his head, his mind was racing. He neither believed her or didn't, he merely hoped that she wasn't lying. Come now, how many times did you get the opportunity to serve pizza to some wacky test tube baby from some lab deep down in the center of the earth. Oh man, it was probably the sort of lab to have, like, cyborg tigers or something guarding the entrance, and he got to have a chit-chat with the escapee? As it was, he was really rooting for her to be telling the truth.

Jade ate more of her strange pizza as Daniel spoke and she gave a slight nod at his question at her escape. Though it was not a zip, zop, and zap to get out of there. Though she did have strong powers it took great effort to make the building crumble and make sure nothing fell on her. "One way to put it." She said as she finished off the slice she was eating. Though then Project 5 then heard scared and panicked thoughts. She looked past Daniel to see a out of control car heading their way. Project 5 eyes then started to glow as she then jumped over the table landing behind Daniel holding up her hand as she then used her powers to bring the car to a sudden halt. She then gave a scary look to the driver to make sure she got her point across. " be careful... You could have badly hurt yourself and others.." She said as her eyes then went back to normal and started to walk away.

Daniel let out a low whistle at the girl's display of her powers. "Ooh~!" he chirped as he hopped up, getting ready to follow the girl. He stopped for a brief moment, looked around the restaurant, saw it was emptying out--likely because of the car incident--and told Rick he was heading out for a bit, and that he'd be back to help close. With that, he ran after Jade.
"So, you're all telepathetic and what not, eh? That's pretty rad. Is that how you got out of that place? Just, you know, in reverse? What I'm saying is, did you ram that lab with a car? Because that'd be pretty great." he commented as he walked alongside her, never bothering to ask whether or not she minded.
