Raizel nodded at the man. At least at the part of it being worth a lot. She was called strange, but he hadn't singled her out, not that it clicked in her mind like that. She didn't much care, for she had been called much worse before. It seemed more like a compliment to the young girl. She tried to encourage herself most of the time not to listen to other people anyway. Their opinion didn't matter, at least so she tried to convince herself of that. All she wanted was at least one person not to find her strange so she could have a friend.. Yet did she really want to get mixed up with another? Mother always warned her...
She looked. Raizel tilted her head and blinked. Cots..? She had, vaguely heard the word before, she thought, but she never was explained exactly what it was.. Though she didn't want to seem stupid in front of this fellow, so shook her head and looked back down at her chip. "N..No, I think the bunnies are fine.." She mumbled to him, turning the object within her tiny paws.

"Hmm...well, I suppose that is the case." Ezekiel said, wiping the goofy grin from his face as he stood up straighter. Well, that joke could have gone over a little bit better. For example, it could have at least been acknowledged. To be fair, though, it was quite a bad joke, so he supposed he could forgive the girl for having a little taste in humor.
"Well, what are you going to do now, little one, now that your rabbit is on its way to recovery?" he asked, cocking his head ever so slightly. He wasn't all that interested, but he felt it was best to humor a child, especially a dark-eyed one.

Raizel looked down as she began to play with her fingertips. It wasn't that she hadn't found the joke funny, she just, didn't get it. She blinked a bit more as she fiddled around, feeling much to embarrassed to look up at him.
"You're a fool. You are aware of this right?"
"..How can I not be when you constantly point it out?" She murmured under her breath.
"Then why is it you still don't listen to me? First with the rabbit, then with this man.."
"He has done nothing wrong, he is kind.. A friend."
"If you think he is your friend, you truly are, no, never mind.. You have gone and surpassed being a fool. Once he figures out what you are he will leave just like everyone else. Or he will get harmed, either one. shall we wait to find out or are you going to spare him?"
Raizel grit her teeth as she was getting annoyed with the voice within her head, her eyes getting hot, fortunately for the rain though if the tears did spill despite her wishes, they would just look like rain drops. Hopefully. Her head perked up when she was spoken to.
"Oh.." She hadn't thought of that.
"Stupid..."
"I suppose go find somewhere to sleep." Was the best answer the small girl could think of. She already had gotten a bite to eat, and she could just drink the rainwater..

"It...would appear that you are fighting some personal demons. Want to talk about it?" Ezekiel offered. He hadn't wanted to be a part of the girl's...issues, but after a certain point, it went past minding his own business, and it became something he had a right to be concerned about.
"What do you think is wrong with her, Zeke? I don't see any spren, and if she had one bonded to her, and if it treated her half as bad as she seems to treat it...well, how could that bond be created?" Syl mused. She had been sitting stealthily on the girl's shoulder for the better part of the conversation, but, while she caught just about everything the youth said, she didn't really understand what was going on with her.
"I also have my doubts that she has a spren. These people don't seem to have the same relationship with your kind that mine do. There is also the fact that she hasn't sucked in that stormlight, which chances are high that she would have, given the opportunity, what with no other obvious sources around..." Ezekiel said to Syl under his breath as she came back to his shoulder.
