Name: Daniel Collins
Age: 19
Race: Meta human
Powers:
Flight: Daniel has the ability to fly for short periods of time Unlike most forms of flight, however, this ability is achieved by essentially 'running' through the air. He is much faster in the air than he is on foot.
Weakness: Daniel is hardly maneuverable whilst he is in the air, and even slightly changing directions can prove to be quite the challenge for him. Also, flying is much more physically taxing for him than just running, limiting his use of the Skies mostly to escapes and quick charges.
Cunning: Daniel is quite adept at making plans, and for every situation he knows about ahead of time, he makes a detailed plan, even if it is for only himself, about what to do at what time.
Weakness: While he is quite good at making plans and working out strategies, he is often the first to ruin them by making some mistake, or last minute 'correction'. If anything should not go according to his plans, he will almost certainly try to make a new strategy on the fly, which he is incapable of doing at such short notice.
Strength: While he would not be playing in the Olympics any time soon, Daniel is still a decent amount stronger than the average person. By itself, his strength wouldn't be very helpful against his foes, but with the help of his trusty metal guitar case, he can pack quite a punch.
Weakness: He may be strong, but Daniel is awfully lightweight, to the point to where his weapon of choice is heavier than him. Being lighter comes to a major disadvantage when ones main method of combat is going toe-to-toe, where it is a bit easier to push the little guy around.
Date of birth: May 7, 1992
Home: Jump City
Alliance: He considers himself neutral, but he can't help but
protect the innocent victim in a fight.
Relationship: Nope
Appearance: Daniel is a somewhat shorter man, standing at only 5'4", and his smaller physique might make one believe that he is much younger that nineteen. His hair rests barely above his ears, and he maintains a short, brown goatee on his face in an attempt to appear older. His eyes are a piercing teal color, occasionally changing as he puts in colored contacts to 'keep his identity a secret'. He's an apathetic dresser, for the most part, dressing in whatever clean article of clothing he can find laying around. On the rare occasion, however, he will practically wear formal attire to even the most common of events, including a fight.
Personality: Daniel is a man that is hard to take serious. This is not only because of his somewhat odd appearance, but also because of how he tends to act with people. Serious moments are rare with Daniel, as he almost constantly will find something comedic to say about anything. This is not to say that he is a jester, however. He tends to express his comedic opinions subtly and, more often than not, sarcastically. He keeps mostly to himself, and it is not very rare that he will be nearly silent for a long time, only to open up a new conversation with a quick, sometimes witty quip.
Daniel is also a very spur of the moment sort of person. He hates over thinking things, and will often make an even more impulsive decision the more he thinks about the options available. For example, being a man with no instrument, or desire to own one, he bought a heavy metal guitar case because he had money, and he saw the thing in a shop window.
Being a somewhat smaller man, Daniel can sometimes have quite the fiery attitude, so as to make up for his unfortunate physique. He loves a good fight, and he will sometimes try to start a friendly boxing match, for no reason other than boredom. He prefers to consider himself not too unlike the Irish rebellion leader Michael Collins, going so far as to use the man's nickname, 'The Big Fellow', despite, or perhaps because, of the difference in stature.
History: Daniel's abilities were apparent from the time he could walk, at least, his ability of flight was, seeing as how when he went out walking with his parents, he would remain at the same height, even after he stepped off a curb. As a direct result, Daniel was a rather sheltered child. He was home schooled, his parents despised the idea of hiring a babysitter, and he was convinced more often than not to stay in rather than go to a friend's house or to any large social gathering. The result was that, when he finally moved out, he was quite ecstatic to see all the doors that were open to him, from work, to homes, and everything in between. He got himself a job as a prep cook at a less than renown restaurant, earning minimum wage for minimum work. With the money he was making, he was able to move into a low rent apartment on the busy corner of a busy street. Most people would be driven mad with the noise, but Daniel reveled in it, seeing it as an opportunity to use the fancy earplugs he bought when he left home.
As he began to work out at the local gym, he couldn't help but feel odd when he noticed almost all of the other regulars, with the exception of the local Mr. Universe hopeful, were constantly using much lower weights than he. He did his best to shrug it off, telling himself that it was a lucky confidence builder, but nothing more, but as his weights got heavier and heavier, while everybody else's remained mostly the same, again, with the exception of the local muscle head, he began to realize there was another thing that was not normal about him.
With that discovery in mind, he figured that he might as well use his unexpected gifts to good use. He began by simply helping out the neighbors with their little problems. Cat in a tree, new residents that needed help moving, etc. Soon enough, however, simple chores were not enough to entertain him anymore, and he began to look for bigger fish to fry.
As it stands now, Daniel works to clean up the streets, and to supplement his income via the less than legal gains of money that some of his targets tend to 'misplace'.
Anything else:
Possessions: A large metal guitar case, more for blunt trauma than protection of an instrument.
A blade (formally belonging to a dragon-slayer) More for show, and less likely to be used as a weapon.
Code Word: Was it Titans forever? I think it was Titans Forever.
